Patent number: 12222041Abstract: A fluid valve, in particular for a motor vehicle and/or a temperature control system, having a housing and a valve body disposed in the housing so as to be rotatable about a rotation axis. The housing has a first port and a third port disposed on opposite side of a normal plane in relation to the rotation axis and a second port which is radially spaced apart from the rotation axis and in the direction of the rotation axis is disposed between the first and the third port. The valve body in at least one rotary position connects at least two ports of the housing to one another, and in at least one other rotary position does not connect the two ports to one another.Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 2020Date of Patent: February 11, 2025Assignee: Vitesco Technologies GmbHInventors: George Plaeru, Daniel-Marius Pop, Alexandru Popa, Cosmin Ion Belin

Patent number: 11885255Abstract: A multiport valve, having a housing having at least two connectors, a control element for blocking at least one of the connectors, the control element disposed to be rotatable in a recess of the housing. An external contour of the control element has a compression portion which in at least one first position of the control element compresses a first seal disposed on a first one of the connectors. The external contour of the control element has a decompression portion that has a smaller radius than the compression portion and in at least one further position of the control element lies opposite the first seal such that the control element compresses the first seal to a lesser extent than in the first position.Type: GrantFiled: April 7, 2020Date of Patent: January 30, 2024Assignee: VITESCO TECHNOLOGIES GMBHInventors: Alexandru Popa, Daniel-Marius Pop, George Plaeru, Cosmin Ion Belin

Patent number: 8442471Abstract: An agile RF tuner circuit capable of converting a wide portion of RF signal into an IF signal suitable for analog-to-digital conversion. The circuit up converts a received RF signal to a high IF signal and then down converts the high IF signal to a low IF signal. Embodiments of the RF circuit incorporate harmonic reject mixers to suppress harmonics and intermodulations typically associated with the frequency conversion process.Type: GrantFiled: December 29, 2011Date of Patent: May 14, 2013Assignee: CSR Technology Inc.Inventors: Carey Ritchey, Kim E. Beumer, Marius Pop

Patent number: 8346172Abstract: Systems and methods which place a spurious signal within a capture bandwidth of a tuner. Placement of the spur is preferably controlled to dispose the spur within a spur placement window, such as may be defined between traffic channels of an input signal. A tuner system operating in accordance with embodiments may be controlled to select a particular input frequency band comprising a plurality of traffic channels for frequency conversion and to determine local oscillator frequencies which result in most relevant spurs being placed outside of the tuner capture bandwidth. The local oscillator frequencies may be shifted to place a relevant spur remaining within the capture bandwidth of the tuner between traffic channels of the plurality of traffic channels. Embodiments operate to determine frequency offset between a transmitter and a tuner to determine the midpoint between channels.Type: GrantFiled: May 27, 2009Date of Patent: January 1, 2013Assignee: CSR Technology Inc.Inventors: Marius Pop, David Dessert
