Patent number: 11501397Abstract: Automated processing, enforcement and intelligent management of vehicle operation violations is disclosed. A method, that is also disclosed, includes obtaining at least one image within which is shown at least a portion of a vehicle. The method also includes receiving image data for the at least one image, and analyzing the image data to generate a violation score for each of one or more potential vehicle operation violations for the vehicle. When the violation score is in-between an upper violation threshold and a lower consideration threshold, user input is obtained that either affirms or rejects existence of a violation and then, once the user input is obtained, a violation notification is generated only when the user input affirms the existence of the violation. When the violation score is higher than the violation threshold, the violation notification is generated without the user input being obtained.Type: GrantFiled: February 5, 2020Date of Patent: November 15, 2022Assignee: MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC.Inventors: Mariya Bondareva, Zili Li, Pietro Russo

Patent number: 10992805Abstract: A device, system and method for modifying workflows based on call profile inconsistencies is provided. A device monitors a call, received from a caller reporting an incident. The device performs one or more sentiment analysis and semantic analysis on one or more of: video of the caller on call; audio of the caller on call; and transcribed text of the audio of the call. The device determines a profile for the call, from a plurality of predetermined profiles stored at a memory accessible to the device, the plurality of predetermined profiles previously generated from historical data. In response to determining an inconsistency between the profile for the call and one or more of the sentiment analysis and the semantic analysis, the device determines a modified workflow for handling the call. The device provides, at a notification device, the modified workflow for handling the call reporting the incident.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 2020Date of Patent: April 27, 2021Assignee: MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC.Inventors: Eric Johnson, Preetam Pagar, Richard Mostaert, Mariya Bondareva

Publication number: 20210117835Abstract: Techniques for enhancing strategic patrol planning and dispatch decision making based on gone on arrival prediction are provided. In one aspect, a crime prediction map may be retrieved. The crime prediction map may include incident locations and incident times, of predicted incidents occurring within a geographic area. The predictions may be based on historical data, the historical data including data from a computer aided dispatch (CAD) system. For each predicted incident location and incident time, a probability of gone on arrival (GOA) incident disposition may be calculated for a plurality of responder response times. The probability may be calculated based on the historical data from the CAD system.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 16, 2019Publication date: April 22, 2021Inventors: MARIYA BONDAREVA, DAVID KALEKO, JEHAN WICKRAMASURIYA

Patent number: 10810280Abstract: A device, system and method for deploying communication devices based on historic incidents is provided. Predicted incident risks for a given time are determined for regions, based on distance and time differences of historic incidents, relative to the given time and a region over a first time period and a distance from a region, and incident prediction parameters for weighting the differences. From the predicted incident risks, a subset of the regions having highest predicted incident risks is determined, and a prediction efficiency is determined based on a number of the incidents in the subset relative to a total number of the incidents for the regions. The first time period, the distance, and the incident prediction parameters are varied when determining the predicted incident risks and the subset, to maximize the prediction efficiency for the second time period. Commands are generated for deploying communication devices to the subset.Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 2017Date of Patent: October 20, 2020Assignee: MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC.Inventors: Mariya Bondareva, Randy L. Patent number: 10425776Abstract: Method and device for responding to an audio inquiry. The electronic computing device monitors audio communications transmitted between communication devices that are members of a talk group on a talk group channel. The electronic computing device detects an audio inquiry from a first communication device and generates an audio content response to be provided in response to the audio inquiry. The electronic computing device determines based on one or both of the audio inquiry and the audio content response, and as a function of the context information, that the audio content response is to be individually provided to the first communication device. The electronic computing device then establishes a private call with the first communication device and provides the audio content response to the first communication device via the private call.Type: GrantFiled: September 12, 2017Date of Patent: September 24, 2019Assignee: MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC.Inventors: Daniel R.
