Abstract: An apparatus for storing items in the volume formed within the rings of a ringed notebook or ringed binder. A main plate member having a plurality of spaced openings therethrough is provided. The spaced openings are arranged and sized so as to accommodate the rings of a ringed notebook or a ringed binder. A storage mechanism is provided for storing at least one selected item. The storage mechanism extends from the main plate member into the volume formed within the rings. Thus, this volume, which is normally unused, can be utilized to store the selected item. In one embodiment the storage mechanism includes a snap on holder. This snap on holder may comprise a storage plate member, locking mechanism and a storage item receiving element. The locking mechanism is associated with the storage plate member for securely attaching the storage plate member to the main plate member.

Abstract: The glue stick apparatus for a ring binder comprises a housing having a peripheral edge with at least one hole being sized so as to accommodate a ring of a ring binder. The housing has a chamber formed therein. A glue stick support assembly is supported within the chamber of the housing. A glue stick is supported by the glue stick support assembly. The glue stick support assembly includes a rotatable knob and a threaded rod integrally connected to the knob and extending along a longitudinal axis of the chamber within the housing. A glue stick support member has an opening for threadable engagement with the threaded rod.

Abstract: A combination book and holepunch assembly includes a book having a flat portion thereon and a holepunch assembly securely attached to the flat portion. The holepunch assembly comprises a housing comprising a first rigid substantially flat plate securely connected to the flat portion. The housing has a set of a plurality of spaced holes formed therethrough a side thereof. The housing further includes an opening in a central portion thereof. A plurality of spaced hinges are located on a side edge of the central portion defined by the opening. A second rigid plate is included having a first hingedly connected via the spaced hinges to the first rigid plate. The second plate has a shape complementary to the shape of the central opening so that when the second rigid plate is in a stowed position it may be supported with the central opening. The second plate includes spaced projections formed on an upper surface thereof.

Abstract: The invention is a notebook insert with a housing having a first rigid substantially flat plate having a first set of a number of spaced holes formed therethrough a first side thereof, the first set of holes being adapted for engagement with the rings of a ringed notebook. The housing further has a second set of a number of spaced holes formed therethrough a second side thereof. The housing further includes an opening in a central portion thereof. A number of spaced hinges are located on a side edge of the central portion defined by the opening. A second rigid plate has a first side hingedly connected via the spaced hinges to the first rigid plate. The second plate has a shape substantially matching the shape of the central opening so when the second rigid plate is in a stowed position it may be supported within the central opening. The second plate includes spaced projections formed on an upper surface thereof.

Abstract: A finger-mounted writing apparatus is disclosed which includes a housing having a forward portion for supporting a writing device extending therefrom and support means associated with the housing for receiving a user's finger and for rigidly supporting the housing relative to the finger. The writing device contacts the writing surface at a writing device contact region. A portion of the fingertip is extended beyond the support means during use, the fingertip being capable of contacting a writing surface at a fingertip contact region. Thus, the fingertip, in combination with the housing of the device, serves to support the writing apparatus during use, the fingertip additionally functioning to guide the motion of the device.
