  • Publication number: 20050205570
Abstract: A two-compartment container has a lid portion and a base portion hingedly connected to one another and openable and closable in the manner of a clamshell. Both the lid portion and the base portion have partitions, which extend from the hinge and which are aligned with one another. When the container is closed, the partitions abut against one another, effectively isolating the two compartments formed in the base portion by its partition from one another. The base portion includes a locking flap which fits into a gap between the partition in the lid portion and its face and seals it to further isolate the two compartments from one another.

  • Patent number: 6918506
Abstract: A packaging container is integrally formed from plastic foam material, such as extruded polystyrene foam. The packaging container has a base, four sidewalls extending from the base, and four corners, each extending between a pair of adjacent sidewalls. The sidewalls have substantially rectangular protrusions extending from the base to a top edge to strengthen the sidewalls against lateral forces. The sidewalls may also have rounded ribs which protrude into the interior of the packaging container for further reinforcement.

  • Publication number: 20040042952
Abstract: A conical reactor head for use in chemical processes or other systems is provided. The reactor head includes a robust internal insulator to boost efficiency while maintaining safety by allowing the reactor head to self-radiate at high temperatures. The reactor head also includes a plurality of support lugs to protect its bottom flange from scratches or other damage when the reactor head is set on the ground. The reactor head is adapted to connect to a catalyst-containing barrel which is specially designed to facilitate easy installation and removal of catalysts or other equipment from outside the barrel. The reactor may be coupled with a rotation vane to induce laminar flow at the inlet of the reactor to increase reactor efficiency and prolong catalyst life.

  • Patent number: 6409021
Abstract: A food serving tray, preferably of polystyrene foam, is provided having a base and bounding side walls. The base is formed with at least two bottom walls and at least one partition interposed therebetween. To provide enhanced stability and rigidity to the tray, protrusions, preferably step-shaped, are formed in the side walls located between the crests of the partitions and the top edges of the side walls. The protrusions provide changes in direction in the side walls which enhance the strength and rigidity of the tray. In addition, the bottom walls may be dished concavely so as to have portions extend upwardly. Under loading, the dished bottom walls become flattened and bi-axially stressed to further enhance the overall strength and stability of the tray.

  • Patent number: 5934472
Abstract: A processor tray is provide for maintaining plastic film wrapped thereabout in a taut state. The tray is unitarially formed with a plurality of sidewalls, a comer joining each pair of sidewalls, and a base. A flange is formed to extend outwardly and downwardly from uppermost portions of the sidewalls and the corners preferably in the range of 15.degree.-35.degree.. Additionally, the flange may be formed with varying widths about the perimeter of the tray. The base may be either formed flat or, alternatively, the base may be formed with three concentric regions to define a concavity, with one region being planar and raised relative to the bottom of the tray.

  • Patent number: 5836133
Abstract: A vertical movement clip for attaching a channeled beam or stud member to a horizontal building member. The clip has the advantage of easily sliding into the interior of the stud and wedging between two parallel legs of the stud member to fit securely therein. The clip also has the advantage of providing an attachment flange that securely attaches to and holds the floor to the stud and prevents most all horizontal movements and yet allows for vertical floor movement relative to the stud. A second embodiment includes a first and second arm having bent portions for increased loading capacity.
