An emulator system in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes: a Hyperion Performance Suite (HPS) console emulator for receiving commands from a source and for performing actions based on the commands; and an HPS Software Development Kit (SDK) for receiving output from the HPS console emulator and for interacting with the HPS; wherein the HPS console emulator provides an interface that allows a user to interact with the HPS via the HPS SDK.
