    Abstract: A tie down or strap anchor apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus provides a housing that can be mounted flush with a deck, floor or the like. A connector removably attaches to the housing by depressing a piston downwardly. When not in use, the connector is removed and a spring urges the piston.
