  • Publication number: 20170236256
Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system of imaging processing for correcting an image may include determining an initial score of the image in response to receiving an image captured by an electronic device. Input parameters for performing deconvolution of the image may be initiated. The image may be deblurred utilizing deconvolution as a function of the input parameters. A score of the image may be determined. A determination as to whether the score of the image meets at least one criteria indicative of whether an optimal image has been determined may be made. If an optimal image has been determined, the image and image parameters utilized to determine the optimal image may be output. Otherwise, the input parameters may be adjusted. The deblurring, determining, determining, and adjusting may be repeated until the optimal image has been determined.

  • Patent number: 9723858
Abstract: A frozen confection dispensing apparatus includes a freezer section and a dispensing section connected to the freezer section. A mixing section is attached to the dispensing section. A user interface allows a user to select a desired flavor. A flavoring section includes a plurality of flavor syrups connected to at least one of injection port within the mixing section. A motor assembly turns a shaft and includes a mixing blade to regulate flow of frozen confection product within the mixing section as well as to blend or homogenize the frozen confection product and flavor syrup at the point of dispense.

  • Publication number: 20170159657
Abstract: A sliding vane pump includes a passageway that fluidly connects one or more pumping chambers to a side chamber. The passageway pressurizes the side chamber. This fluid pressure exerts a force that counteracts the force caused by pressure differences between the outlet pumping chambers and the inlet pumping chambers. At high speed, part of the side chamber is pressurized by the smallest volume outlet pumping chamber while another portion of the side chamber is pressurized by the largest volume outlet chamber. This results in a force counteracting an uncommanded displacement decrease of the pump.

  • Publication number: 20170159941
Abstract: A portable cooker for outdoor use having one or two side shelves which can be moved to a compact upright stowage position for carrying, storage or transport and can then be deployed to a horizontal position when using the portable cooker for cooking at a campsite, at a park, on a boat, at a tail-gate party, or at any other location. In the upright stowage position, the side shelves are located outside of the cooking chamber so that the shelves do not come into contact with the cooking grate and do not pick up food particles, grease, or other cooking residues which are present on the cooking grate or elsewhere in the cooking chamber. Also, because the side shelves are not folded into the cooking chamber during carrying or transport, the portable cooker can additionally include an interior warming rack and other features which are used in “non-portable” grills but would interfere with the operation of the side shelves of the portable grill if the shelves were required to be folded into the cooking chamber.

  • Publication number: 20170039282
Abstract: A flexible and extensible architecture allows for secure searching across an enterprise. Such an architecture can provide a simple Internet-like search experience to users searching secure content inside (and outside) the enterprise. The architecture allows for the crawling and searching of a variety of sources across an enterprise, regardless of whether any of these sources conform to a conventional user role model. The architecture further allows for security attributes to be received at query time, for example, in order to provide real-time secure access to enterprise resources. The user query also can be transformed to provide for dynamic querying that provides for a more current result list than can be obtained for static queries.

  • Publication number: 20170005898
Abstract: Systems methods and apparatus provide a temporal analysis framework that models how the IEEE 802.11 MAC mechanism wins transmission opportunities when nodes communicate data over a plurality of communication channels. At each node, data packets transmitted by adjacent remote nodes are captured for a predetermined time interval. The capacity utilization of each adjacent node may be calculated from captured packets as the ratio of a network bandwidth used by a node for transmitting its data load and a network bandwidth available under the load conditions. Capacity utilization may be compared against a threshold parameter for determining a saturated condition. Each node communicates data representative of the saturation determination in beacon frames to one or more of the adjacent nodes, which may take preventive actions to avoid deterioration of data communications. Each network node passively monitors the performance of adjacent or “neighboring” nodes in order to detect if saturation is occurring.

  • Publication number: 20160375348
Abstract: A lane maintenance machine has a cleaning system that includes at least one liquid dispensing head that reciprocates back and forth transversely of the lane as the machine travels along the length of the lane. The dispensing head includes a dispensing tip therein that emits a pin deck treatment product and applies it to a pin deck. The system provides accurate, precise metering of the pin deck treatment liquid and affords board-by-board control of the dispensing action. A wiping assembly immediately behind the dispensing head provides a web of cloth-like material looped under a compressible backup roller to wipe or smear the applied liquid. In a preferred embodiment, the dispensing head is a double head, and it includes a second tip for dispensing a cleaning solution so that pin deck treatment can take place with the same piece of equipment, after lane cleaning has taken place, making the entire process automated.
