Patent number: 7324634Abstract: A telecommunications network includes a management system for analyzing call detail records (CDR's) from terminating switches. The management system recovers CDR's by polling through switch managers which poll dependent exchanges. CDR's indicating a call clear occurring within a short predetermined time after a call answer are stored and used to indicate potentially faulty access network lines.Type: GrantFiled: August 9, 2001Date of Patent: January 29, 2008Assignee: British Telecommunications public limited companyInventors: Michael D Hoy, Mark A Fletcher, Alan E Cooper, Simon J Warwick

Publication number: 20040201698Abstract: A camera-based system for capturing images of a target area includes a boom assembly adapted to extend outwardly from a generally vertical surface. At least one digital camera is mounted on the boom assembly at a location spaced from the surface. The at least one digital camera is oriented so that the field of view thereof encompasses a target area on the surface. A controller is in communication with the at least one digital camera. The controller conditions the at least one digital camera to acquire an image of the target area. The image acquired by the at least one digital camera is conveyed to the controller and is processed to form a digital image of the target area. The digital image is published automatically to allow the digital image to be accessed by a user through a web client application.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 8, 2001Publication date: October 14, 2004Inventors: Vaughn E. Keenan, Wallace I. Kroeker, Mark A. Fletcher, Shawn W. Duce

Patent number: 6532602Abstract: A comfortable, self-adjusting, protective helmet made from a process of insert molding. The helmet comprises an armature or insert made of a porous material that is embedded in the layers of the helmet to connect the structural parts of the helmet to one another. The armature as used in the helmet also serves several other functions which include hinging and sizing. A retention system is strategically located on the helmet to provide increased stabilization of the helmet on the wearer's head. One embodiment of this invention is an insert-molded helmet that can be converted into a pouch. A further embodiment of this invention includes a protrusion at the back of a helmet suitable for a compartment.Type: GrantFiled: August 27, 2001Date of Patent: March 18, 2003Assignee: Sportscope, Inc.Inventors: Robert D. Watters, John C. Tutton, Aldo F. Balatti, Mark A. Fletcher, Nicholas Shewchenko, Timothy Douglas Bayne, Christopher Robert Patrick Withnall

Patent number: 6159324Abstract: A new process for making headgear. The process comprises the step of insert molding an armature into helmet segments to produce a protective helmet having superior characteristics. The process also comprises the step of strategically locating a retention system on the helmet to provide increased stabilization of the helmet on the wearer's head. The process further comprises the step of attaching an improved strap guide to the helmet. One embodiment of this invention is a process for making an insert-molded helmet that can be converted into a pouch. Another embodiment of this invention is a process for making a helmet that includes a protrusion at the back of a helmet suitable for a compartment.Type: GrantFiled: March 5, 1999Date of Patent: December 12, 2000Assignee: SportscopeInventors: Robert D.
