Abstract: This disclosure includes a gas-permeable element formed or at least partially placed in a packaging or medical device containing sensitive or odorous products for regulating an atmosphere in the packaging or medical device. The gas-permeable element includes an active structure formed from a mixture including particles of an active material, and a fibrillated polymer as a binder. The fibrillated polymer is a polymer to which shear has been applied which holds the active material by entanglement. The gas-permeable element includes a molded thermoplastic gas-permeable envelope surrounding the active structure in fluid communication with the atmosphere of the packaging or medical device in which the gas-permeable element is placed. Also disclosed is a method of manufacture of the gas-permeable element.

Abstract: This method, intended for the marking of a receptacle (2) while it is moved along a conveying path, comprises: moving the receptacle (2) in a marking station along the conveying path; simultaneously marking a first surface region (2A) and a second surface region (2B) of the receptacle (2) while it is moved in the marking station along the conveying path, using a first laser beam (44) and a second laser beam (54) emitted in opposite directions on both sides of the receptacle, transversally to the conveying direction (X1), the first and second surface regions (2A, 2B) being arranged substantially at 180° from each other with respect to a main axis (X2) of the receptacle.

Abstract: A moisture absorbing product, particularly for use in containers or railcars, includes a desiccant container including a plurality of separate desiccant holding compartments, each containing a quantity of desiccant material, a support over which the desiccant material is placed, a sheeting material, which substantially covers the desiccant container and which is permeable to gaseous water vapor but substantially impermeable to liquid water, and a strap with hook, secured to or within the support or desiccant container, which strap and hook are useful for hanging the moisture absorbing product within the container or railcar.
