Abstract: A consumable premeasured charge for use with an intended black powder firearm having barrel with a desired caliber, the consumable premeasured charge comprising a closed container defining an interior chamber and loose granular gunpowder filling a volume of the interior chamber to between 50 and approximately 100%. The closed container being sized to be loaded within a gun barrel of the intended firearm. A method of forming consumable premeasured charge is also disclosed.

Abstract: A scent cartridge (1) with a substrate (3), wherein the latter consists of porous particles of silica gel, activated carbon and/or aluminum oxide, which are impregnated with scents or active ingredients. The substrate (3) is fixed in a small cylindrical glass or aluminum tube (2) by means of wiremesh caps (4) made of metal or plastic. A membrane disk (6) is sealingly held on each flanged edge (5) of the small glass or aluminum tube (2) by means of a cap (7) each so that the membrane disks (6) can be punctured with needles or cannulae for releasing scents or active ingredients and an air or carrier gas flow controlled in a time-dependent manner is then admitted to the scent cartridge (1).

Abstract: A method of making gas generation compositions is provided comprising the steps of dry mixing an oxidizing agent, an organic acid, an iron compound and carbon to form a dry mixed product composition, without cooking, and then introducing a binder, such as water, to the composition, compacting the bound composition, comminuting the compacted bound composition to form granules and drying the compacted granules without cooking.
