  • Publication number: 20240295133
Abstract: A deployable mobile module configurable to be deployed to remote sites. The deployable mobile module includes an outer housing, a roof panel, the roof panel pivotably coupled to a lower edge of the outer housing; a floor panel, the floor panel pivotably coupled to an upper edge of the outer housing; and two sidewall assemblies, the sidewall assemblies pivotably coupled to a side edge of the outer housing, the sidewall assemblies each including a sidewall housing and a front wall subassembly that includes a door, the front wall subassembly pivotably coupled to a front edge of the sidewall housing. By unfolding the floor panel, roof panel, sidewall housings, and front wall subassemblies, a structure may be deployed. The deployable mobile module may have one or more pieces of equipment and other systems installed thereto such that the structure is ready to operate with minimal additional setup time.

  • Patent number: 7006006
Abstract: A system and method for controlling home entertainment units with radio frequency and infrared signals. The system includes a computer, a display, an RF transceiving device, an RF transceiver and IR transmitter combination device, and at least one home entertainment unit. The system may also include at least one microphone which may be interconnected with computer via any known connecting cable, or which may be contained within the RF transceiving device and/or the RF transceiver and IR transmitter combination device. The RF transceiver and IR transmitter combination device receives transmitted RF signal data from the RF transceiving device and/or the at least one microphone, converts the RF signal data into IR signal data associated with the particular home entertainment unit, transmits the IR signal data, and controls the particular home entertainment unit.

  • Patent number: 6175585
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for limiting interaction of electron beams produced by adjacent electron bean guns mounted within a vacuum chamber of a furnace. The apparatus may include one or more barriers that are suspended within the vacuum chamber between adjacent electron beam guns. The methods may include suspending one or more vertically extending barriers with the vacuum chamber between adjacent electron beam guns.

  • Patent number: 5424042
Abstract: A system for vitrifying all kinds of waste, including toxic, industrial, household and radioactive wastes such as those generated by nuclear power plants, including dry active wastes, ion exchange resins and aqueous wastes wherein the wastes are conditioned, blended, mixed with glass formers and then fed into a heating chamber where organic constituents of the waste are burned and inorganic constituents are melted with the glass formers to form a waste glass. The aqueous waste may be conditioned by concentrating its solids content up to as much as 90% solids. The dry active waste is conditioned, and mixed to some extent by shredders. The conditioned waste may be blended to achieve a uniform heat energy content of the waste being fed into the heating chamber. The heating chamber has a larger combustion zone to handle the greater amount of organic waste than would be expected in conventional melters, and a melting zone having a replaceable crucible and liner.
