  • Patent number: 11821224
Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing residential care and health is disclosed. The method includes providing a residential unit which is transported to a location proximate a residence of a primary health provider. The residential unit is then positioned on a plurality of height adjustable pads which function to retain the residential unit in place and substantially restrict any horizontal movement of the residential unit relative to the underlying ground. The resident is then introduced into the residential unit. The unit is fitted with telemetric monitoring equipment adapted to monitor and relay information regarding the resident's health, vital signs, movement to a remotely located care provider. Upon the resident obtaining a condition which no longer requires the monitoring of his health and vital signs, the residential unit is transported away from the location.

  • Patent number: 6283612
Abstract: A light emitting diode light strip that uses a rigid hollow tube (20) sized to accommodate a printed circuit board (22) which has a positive and negative bus extending the full length of the board. One or more resistors (38) are in contact with the positive bus on one end and a series of light emitting diodes (44) on the other. The diodes are mounted through holes (34) in the board and the anode of the diode is in communication with a resistor while the cathode of the diode contacts an adjacent diode anode connecting them in linked series through traces on the bottom of the circuit board. The end cathode in each series, engages the negative bus forming a predetermined group of diodes electrically coupled to a single resistor on one end and the negative bus on the other. A pair of end caps (50) enclose the tube and an electrical cable (60) is connected through the caps to the busses on the circuit board.

  • Patent number: 5308034
Abstract: A clipboard adapted for multi-functional use is disclosed. The clipboard includes a pair of panel-like members which are releasably joined to one another to form an assembly. The panel-like members are separable one from another whereby a sheet of paper having information printed thereon may be inserted between the panel members to be interposed therebetween. One or both of the panel members is fabricated from a transparent material which permits the user to view the information on the sheet of paper through the panel member itself. A conventional clip assembly is mounted on one or both of the panels to releasably retain a sheet of paper atop one of the panels whereby the user may either read or write on the paper utilizing the underlying panel as a writing surface.

  • Patent number: 5044090
Abstract: Disclosed is a truck span measuring apparatus adapted for positioning in the wheel well of a vehicle whose span is to be measured. The apparatus includes a housing having at least one female-threaded socket positioned on one end thereof. A male-threaded shaft is threadedly inserted into the socket and furthermore extends into the hollow interior of the housing. A pad-fitted end assembly is mounted on the free end of the shaft and is adapted to engage against the inner sidewall of a wheel well of a vehicle to be measured. The opposing end of the housing is also fitted with a pad-fitted bracket assembly which is adapted to engage against the interior sidewall of the housing of the wheel well. A collar assembly having a threaded bolt which extends threadedly therethrough, is mounted on the housing to slidable along the length of the housing.
