  • Publication number: 20210217247
Abstract: A person who is not wearing a hybrid reality (HR) system communicates with the HR system without using a network communications link using a body pose. An image of an individual is captured using an image capture device and a computing device recognizes a body pose of the individual based on the image. The computing device then selects a response body pose based on the recognized body pose and prompts a user of the HR system to perform the response body pose as a response to the individual. The user is a different person than the individual.

  • Patent number: 11055913
Abstract: A computer system enhances guidance information on a display, allowing a user position and orientation in 3D space to be achieved. In some embodiments, the guidance is visual, for example the blurring of display objects not at the desired position. In some embodiments, the guidance is aural, for example placing a sound moving to the desired position. In some embodiments, the guidance is tactile, for example using haptic pads attached to a head-mounted display to push the user in a specified direction. The system may be used to guide the user spatially for the performing of a task, to help the user avoid sensitive components, or to guide the user to position a sensor, such as a camera, in an optimal direction for taking measurements. The system includes head positioning, hand positioning and gaze positioning techniques.

  • Publication number: 20210199973
Abstract: A system includes beacon devices with phosphor located on their exteriors. The phosphor is formulated to receive first electromagnetic radiation and emit second electromagnetic radiation in response. The system also includes a head-mounted display (HMD) with a display positioned in a field-of-view (FOV) of a user, an emitter positioned to transmit the first electromagnetic radiation, and an imaging device sensitive to the second wavelength range. A processor of the HMD is programmed to receive an image from the imaging device, determine positions of the beacon devices based on the image, establish a path for the user to follow based on the positions of the beacon devices, and provide a visible cue on the display that indicates the path.

  • Publication number: 20210142582
Abstract: A first position of a hybrid reality system (DHR) relative to a first real-world object is determined and data associated with an occluded object is received. A viewport is established anchored to a first location on the first real-world object and a first image showing a first virtual view of the hidden portion of the occluded object as it would be seen from the first position of the DHR through the viewport is presented on the DHR overlaid on a first view of the first real-world object. At a second time, a second position of the DHR is determined and a second image showing a second virtual view of the hidden portion of the occluded object as it would be seen from the second position of the DHR through the viewport is presenting on the DHR overlaid on a second view of the first real-world object.

  • Publication number: 20210110363
Abstract: Computer-implemented methods for automatically identifying and configuring transfer targets in a transaction system are disclosed. Such a method may include: identifying a location associated with a first account. The first account may be associated with an account holder. A set of known transfer targets associated with the identified location is identified. Based on transaction data for one or more accounts associated with the account holder, a processor identifies transactions involving the transfer targets. One or more transactions involving a particular one of the transfer targets may be determined to correspond to one or more transfers to the particular one of the transfer targets. A prompt for presentation by a client device to add the particular one of the transfer targets to a transfer interface may then be generated. Related systems and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10970935
Abstract: A person who is not using a hybrid reality (HR) system communicates with the HR system without using a network communications link using a body pose. Data is received from a sensor and an individual is detected in the sensor data. A first situation of at least one body part of the individual in 3D space is ascertained at a first time and a body pose is determined based on the first situation of the at least one body part. An action is decided on based on the body pose and the action is performed on an HR system worn by a user.

  • Publication number: 20210082040
Abstract: A method of processing a value transfer by a computer system may include obtaining an amount of a value transfer to be made using a primary transfer source. Responsive to determining that an available transfer quantity associated with the primary transfer source for effectuating the value transfer is less than the amount of the value transfer, a selectable option to use an existing secondary transfer source for effectuating at least a portion of the instructed value transfer is provided. Responsive to receiving, based on the selectable option to use the existing secondary transfer source for effectuating at least the at least a portion of the instructed value transfer, a transfer of value using the existing secondary transfer source for effectuating the at least a portion of the instructed value transfer is initiated. Related computer systems and methods are also disclosed.
