Patent number: 11232399Abstract: A computer system includes a sorting device that receives a set of orders. The sorting device, for each fill of a first order of the set of orders, assigns the fill to one of a set of fulfillment devices. The computer system includes a sequence determination device configured to receive a first set of fills assigned to a first fulfillment device of the set of fulfillment devices. The sequence determination device adds the first set of fills to a first sequence corresponding to the first fulfillment device. The sequence determination device, for each fill of the first set of fills, determines a start time based on (i) a corresponding target date of the corresponding order and (ii) a priority of the corresponding order. The sequence determination device organizes the first sequence based on the start times. A forwarding device forwards the first sequence to the first fulfillment device.Type: GrantFiled: December 31, 2019Date of Patent: January 25, 2022Assignee: Express Scripts Strategic Development, Inc.Inventors: Kristine Calvin, Albert Wayt, Alicia Pratt, Dawn Kotva, Harish Boini, Joseph Azar, Kenneth G. Patent number: 8337765Abstract: An apparatus and method to electrocatalytically induce the decomposition of a liquid propellant for propulsion. This is accomplished by providing a reaction chamber filled with catalyst that has a first electrode, such as near the center, and the other electrode disposed away from the first electrode. A charge source that is capable of applying voltage is connected to the electrodes. When the reaction chamber is dosed with a propellant such as an aqueous based amine propellant, such as HAN, an electric current flows between the electrodes and the propellant. This initiates the decomposition of the propellant which is driven to completion by the catalyst bed in order to be used for power generation.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2005Date of Patent: December 25, 2012Assignee: Honeywell International Inc.Inventors: Tihomir G. Patent number: 8273486Abstract: An anode structure comprises an array of carbon nanotubes having a diffusion side and a membrane side, and catalyst particles interspersed on inner surfaces of the membrane side of the carbon nanotubes. The carbon nanotubes have an average diameter greater than the size of the hydrogen molecule but smaller than the size of the carbon monoxide molecule. Thus, hydrogen flowing toward the catalyst particles interspersed inside the carbon nanotubes are able to go through, while the flow of trace amounts of carbon monoxide contained in the hydrogen is blocked, preventing the poisoning of the catalyst particles by the carbon monoxide. A fuel cell utilizing the anode structure and a method for manufacturing the anode structure are also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 2009Date of Patent: September 25, 2012Assignee: Honeywell International, Inc.Inventor: Mark Kaiser

Patent number: 7569796Abstract: A power source is provided for a resistive heating element that heats a catalyst bed of a reactor that receives a monopropellant fuel and reacts the fuel in the presence of the catalyst bed to provide hot gas driving a turbine. The power source is a capacitor that discharges its charge across the resistive heating element so that its temperature is elevated to a point where the reaction of the monopropellant fuel occurs. The power source may be used in airborne applications, such as emergency power systems for aircraft, where it is desirable to minimize the weight of the unit and to allow the unit to use safer monopropellant fuels.Type: GrantFiled: August 8, 2005Date of Patent: August 4, 2009Assignee: Honeywell International Inc.Inventors: Mark Kaiser, Russ Johnson, Mike S. Patent number: 7252323Abstract: A vehicle body includes a first door member and an opening/closing mechanism. The first door member can rotate between a first position in which it covers the part of a opening of a storage section and a second position in which it opens the part of the opening. The opening/closing mechanism that rotates the first door member includes a rotation shaft that supports the first door member. The rotation shaft is disposed at a position in which the first door member does not come out from a rotation area overlapping the first door member that is in the first position vertically when the first door member rotates. The opening/closing mechanism moves the first door member up to a third position in which the first door member does not interfere with a vehicle main body when the first door member rotates between the first position and the second position.Type: GrantFiled: December 29, 2005Date of Patent: August 7, 2007Assignees: Mitsubishi Jidosha Kogyo Kabushiki Kaisha, Johnson Controls IncorporatedInventors: Brian Cole, Mark Kaiser, Dean Trexel, Hitendra Gadhiya, Jagmail Singh Cheema
