  • Publication number: 20250153100
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for low temperature separation of sweep gas from desorbed components. This can allow for performance of sorption/desorption cycles at reduced temperatures and/or pressures. Methanol is an example of a sweep gas that can be used for desorption at reduced temperatures. CO2 is an example of a component that can be sorbed and desorbed using a sorption/desorption cycle with reduced temperatures and/or pressures.

  • Patent number: 12203027
Abstract: A frozen material prevention system for preventing a freezable material in a fluid flow from freezing and accumulating frozen material in a flow path, including, a surface configured to interact with a freezable-material-miscible (FMM) liquid to retain the FMM liquid to the surface. The system can include the FMM liquid. The FMM liquid can be configured to absorb the freezable material to prevent freezing and accumulation of frozen material on the surface.

  • Publication number: 20220411687
Abstract: A structure for use as a liquid impregnated surface (LIS) can include a surface configured to interact with a liquid to retain the liquid to the surface. The liquid can be a low viscosity hydrocarbon. In certain embodiments, the low viscosity hydrocarbon can be polyalphaolefin (PAO) or heptane, for example. Any other suitable low viscosity hydrocarbon is contemplated herein. In certain embodiments, the structure can further include the low viscosity hydrocarbon disposed on the surface.

  • Patent number: 5242271
Abstract: A device for dispensing oils, antifreeze and other fluids from drums or other bulk containers has a rotary air motor which powers a gerotor-type pumping element. The pumping element has at least one magnet thereon and an electronics package is provided which counts the number of magnetic pulses which occur during the rotation of the gerotor and converts it over to the quantity of material pumped. A valve controls the flow of air to the air motor which in turn allows an operator to control the dispensing of fluid from the outlet of the pumping element.
