  • Patent number: 11959567
Abstract: Systems: and methods for decreasing bending stress in flange bolting for a connection between a flange and an adjacent piece of equipment is provided. The flange connection includes a single flange with multiple bolts extending: therethrough. The bolts are threaded into the adjacent piece of equipment at one end, and a nut is disposed at an opposite end. of each bolt to provide a means for tightening and/or securing the flange connection. The equipment to which the flange is attached may include subsea well equipment with relatively large outer diameters. The disclosed flange connection utilizes: an initial region of a counterbored (or unthreaded) hole in the mating equipment piece just prior to the start of the thread formed through the equipment. Additionally, a compound hub flange connection is disclosed to further reduce the bending stress on the bolts.

  • Publication number: 20240091302
Abstract: The present disclosure includes a method of making an improved carbetocin drug product. The disclosed method for making an improved carbetocin drug product comprises agitating a carbetocin preparation containing an aqueous solution of carbetocin and one or more excipients for a period of to initiate the formation of aggregate-forming solids and filtering off the aggregates that form before further processing the remaining carbetocin into a final drug product. The present disclosure also relates to an improved carbetocin drug product, wherein the drug product is substantially free of aggregate-forming solids. The disclosed carbetocin drug product can be used for the treatment of a neurodevelopmental disorder, such as Präder-Willi syndrome. Additionally, the disclosed carbetocin drug product shows content uniformity of carbetocin over long periods of time before and after one or more free/thaw cycles, provides enhanced convenience and patient compliance, and/or are highly concentrated.

  • Patent number: 11704405
Abstract: This disclosure provides techniques for pooling and searching network security events reported by multiple sources. As information representing a security event is received from one source, it is searched against a central or distributed database representing events reported from multiple, diverse sources (e.g., different client networks). Either the search or correlated results can be filtered and/or routed according at least one characteristic associated with the networks, for example, to limit correlation to events reported by what are presumed to be similarly situated networks. The disclosed techniques facilitate faster identification of high-relevancy security event information, and thereby help facilitate faster threat identification and mitigation. Various techniques can be implemented as standalone software (e.g., for use by a private network) or for a central pooling and/or query service. This disclosure also provides different examples of actions that can be taken in response to search results.
