  • Patent number: 11914839
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for controlling playback of media content items on a media playback device. A graphical user interface displays media playback controls including an automatic playback switch. The switch is configured to enable or disable automatic playback of an autoplay queue of media content items. An initial queue of media content is selected for playback on the media playback device. When automatic playback is enabled, the system automatically generates a queue of media that is related to the initial queue and initiates playback on the media playback device after the initial queue concludes. Automatic playback options can also include repeating the initial queue or a single track within the initial queue.

  • Patent number: 11914853
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for configuring automatic playback settings on a media playback device. A graphical user interface displays automatic playback settings and receives selections of customized settings for automatic playback. The settings can include context granularity for automatic playback, limiting autoplay to when the media playback device is connected to a wireless network, and activating an audible notification when automatic playback of media content is beginning. An initial queue of media content is selected for playback on the media playback device. The system ascertains whether autoplay is enabled for a particular situation. If autoplay is enabled, the system automatically generates a queue of media that is related to the initial queue and initiates playback on the media playback device after the initial queue concludes.

  • Publication number: 20230321336
Abstract: The present invention is generally related to a suction system for use during surgical procedures. The suction system for use during surgical procedures utilizes a suction device that is positionable so that the suction device can be located in its most efficient position in order to capture as much smoke and odors as possible that are being produced at a surgical site. Furthermore, the suction system is also capable of being quickly and easily removed from the patient's surgical field so that the suction system can be quickly and easily located at another location on the patient's surgical field, if needed. Finally, the suction system includes widened head areas that create a wide suction area in order to further assist in capturing as much smoke and odors as possible that are being produced at a surgical site.

  • Patent number: 11627133
Abstract: A method for providing access to a target electronic device through a first service running on a different electronic device may include receiving in the first service a command directed to the target electronic device from a command sender and receiving in the service device operation status parameters of the target electronic device. The device operation status parameters may include properties of the target electronic device such as a battery level, a battery charging rate, an age, a planned lifespan, a recent wireless usage, an internal temperature, or any of the above in relation to an intervening electronic device over which communication to the target electronic device travels, or any combination thereof. The method may also include using the device operation status parameters to determine, using the service, whether to provide or not to provide an update signal incorporating the command or information to the target electronic device.

  • Patent number: 9660948
Abstract: Methods, devices, and machine-readable media are provided to perform rule-based rate limiting. As provided in this disclosure, this may include receiving a message en route to a destination, determining one or more parameters of the message, and determining whether the parameters of the message match parameters of a rule that specifies taking a first action when more than some number of messages having those parameters are received within a specific amount of time. When the one or more parameters of the message match the one or more parameters of the first restriction rule, a sliding window counter that indicates a total number of corresponding messages received within the amount of time may be incremented. When the first sliding window counter exceeds the first number of messages, the specified action may be taken.
