Patent number: 10906449Abstract: A dump truck (10) has a tipping body (30) in the form of a shell structure for holding material, which is pivotally mounted to the chassis (19) of the dump truck (10) for tilting about a transverse tipping axis. The truck (10) has at least one hoist pivot (33) configured for connection to a respective tipping ram (18) mounted to the chassis (19). The hoist pivot (33) is positioned to abut against the underside of the shell structure (36) when acted upon by the tipping ram (18) and tilt the tipping body (30) about the tipping axis. However, the hoist pivot (33) is not integral or welded to the shell structure (36). High stress concentrations are thereby avoided or significantly lessened in the tipping body shell in the vicinity of the hoist pivot, and there are no welds between the hoist pivot and the shell structure to become fatigued or crack. This enables a simplified and lighter single skin shell structure to be used for the tipping body.Type: GrantFiled: October 21, 2015Date of Patent: February 2, 2021Assignee: WILLINGDON PROPERTIES PTY LTDInventor: Mark Petrie

Patent number: 10291471Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and articles associated with remediation execution. In embodiments, a set of policy test failures may be selected for remediation. The set of policy test failures may be associated with a computer network with a number of nodes. For each failure within the set of policy test failures, a remediation script may be obtained to remediate a corresponding policy test failure. The remediation scripts may be selectively provided to nodes that are affected by policy test failures, for execution by the nodes. A remediation script result for each remediation script executed may be received. Based upon the remediation script results, it may be determined whether or not execution of the remediation scripts was successful.Type: GrantFiled: November 28, 2016Date of Patent: May 14, 2019Assignee: Tripwire, Inc.Inventors: David Whitlock, Guy Gascoigne-Piggford, Geoff Granum, Mark Petrie

Patent number: 10233079Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for heating alane etherate compositions for producing microcrystalline alpha alane. An exemplary heating method comprises introducing a preheated solvent into the alane etherate composition and rapidly stirring to effectuate rapid heating of the composition without the need to heat the reactor walls. In this way, the alane etherate composition can be heated while also reducing the risk of decomposition. In further embodiments, a two-stage reactor can be employed for producing alpha alane, wherein the heating occurs in the second stage.Type: GrantFiled: June 15, 2016Date of Patent: March 19, 2019Assignee: Ardica Technologies, Inc.Inventors: David Stout, Elisabeth McLaughlin, Henry Fong, Georgina Hum, Paul E.
