Abstract: A method, a system and a computer program are provided for creating unprecedented transparency in mortgage markets. The system includes a fully integrated, web-based exchange platform that provides lenders, buyers, securitization participants and regulators all access to real-time reporting of housing market data. System technology stores and analyzes data on consumer profiles, approved and denied mortgage applications, appraisals and vendors, and any services they provide to any mortgage application. The data can then be used by regulators for forensic and predictive analysis that will support their ability to better manage fraud and predatory lending practices or any other aspect of the mortgage lending process. It will also enable better purchasing decision-making for home buyers. The system technology has the ability to drive system-wide accountability.
