  • Patent number: 11995159
Abstract: A moveable head of a computer numerically controlled machine may deliver electromagnetic energy sufficient to cause a first change in a material at least partially contained within an interior space of the CNC machine. A feature of the material may be imaged using at least one camera present inside the interior space to update a position of the material, and the moveable head may be aligned to deliver electromagnetic energy sufficient to cause a second change in the material such that the second change is positioned on the material consistent with the first change and with an intended final appearance of the material. Methods, systems, and article of manufacture are described.

  • Publication number: 20240168453
Abstract: A method may include projecting, onto a surface within a computer numerically controlled machine, a structured light having a known property. One or more sensors may generate an image of the structured light projected on the surface within the computer numerically controlled machine. One or more characteristics of the surface may be determined by comparing a property of the structured light shown in the image to the known property of the structured light. Examples of characteristics include a size, a distance to the surface, a height, a thickness, an angle of the surface, edges, surface properties, jigs, fiducial alignment markers, patterns encoding data, and visual designs on the surface of the material that are intended for reproductions. A surface map indicating the characteristics of the surface at various locations may be generated to enable, for example, a calibration, alignment, and/or optimization of the computer numerically controlled machine.

  • Publication number: 20240163510
Abstract: A system may selectively deliver interactive portions of a piece of content, based for example on a recipient user's historical tendency to use interactive portions of prior content. Multiple levels of interactivity may be defined for a given piece of content, such as an advertisement, and different users may receive different levels of interactivity based on how much they use interactive features. Some users may receive no interactive features at all, while others may receive the interactive features, and despite the fact that all of the users' devices may be perfectly capable of processing the interactive features for the user. The omission from transmission may conserve bandwidth and transmission resources.

  • Patent number: 11955932
Abstract: Bias circuits and methods for silicon-based amplifier architectures that are tolerant of supply and bias voltage variations, bias current variations, and transistor stack height, and compensate for poor output resistance characteristics. Embodiments include power amplifiers and low-noise amplifiers that utilize a cascode reference circuit to bias the final stages of a cascode amplifier under the control of a closed loop bias control circuit. The closed loop bias control circuit ensures that the current in the cascode reference circuit is approximately equal to a selected multiple of a known current value by adjusting the gate bias voltage to the final stage of the cascode amplifier. The final current through the cascode amplifier is a multiple of the current in the cascode reference circuit, based on a device scaling factor representing the relative sizes of the transistor devices in the cascode amplifier and in the cascode reference circuit.

  • Publication number: 20240077847
Abstract: A method for computer numerically controlled processing may include generating a user interface to enable the configuration of an edge treatment. The user interface may also be generated to enable the configuration of a design corresponding to a combination of the first object and the second object generated by applying one of a plurality of Boolean operation. A computer numerically controlled machine may be configured to deliver an electromagnetic energy in order to effect, in a material, one or more changes corresponding to the edge treatment and/or the design configured by the user. For example, the one or more changes corresponding to the edge treatment may include a variable depth engraving along at least a portion of a perimeter of a material.

  • Publication number: 20230343468
Abstract: Provided herein are systems and methods for automated generation of individual recommendations for medical treatment. The system and methods may ingest information from a variety of sources (e.g., clinical trials, tumor boards, case studies, etc.) and, based on this information, and a case summary provided by the physician, generate a ranked list of potential treatment options that are matched to the particular situation of a patient.

  • Publication number: 20230325582
Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for dynamically transforming an unstructured document to a structured document prior to, during, or subsequent to transfer of information via the unstructured document. The transformation may be based on processing a variety of factors, such as the content of the unstructured document, request from a first party transferring the document, identity or characteristics of the first party, request from a second party requesting the document, and identity or characteristics of the second party.

  • Publication number: 20230177370
Abstract: In an aspect, the present disclosure provides a system comprising a computer processor and a storage device having instructions stored thereon that are operable, when executed by the computer processor, to cause the computer processor to: (i) receive clinical data of a subject and a set of treatment options for a disease or disorder of the subject, wherein the set of treatment options corresponds to clinical outcomes having future uncertainty; (ii) access a prediction module comprising a trained machine learning model that determines probabilistic predictions of clinical outcomes of the set of treatment options based at least in part on clinical data of test subjects; and (iii) apply the prediction module to at least the clinical data of the subject to determine probabilistic predictions of clinical outcomes of the set of treatment options.

  • Publication number: 20220413164
Abstract: Presented herein are systems and methods for generating a consistent set of signals to be processed by a PVT processor. In one or more examples, a GNSS receiver can receive a plurality of signals from a plurality of signal sources. In one or more examples, the systems and methods can generate clusters that have been vetted using cost functions so as to maximize the probability that any cluster that is sent to the PVT processor contains legitimate GNSS signals, and does not include any spoofed or otherwise illegitimate signals, thereby maximizing the probability that a PVT solution produced by the PVT processor is accurate.

  • Patent number: 7869539
Abstract: The disclosed methods, systems, and computer-program products for compute a power allocation for a rateless, error-correcting code constructed from a plurality of repeated blocks having a plurality of superimposed layers and having a decoding signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) threshold. A noise threshold for an initial block of the rateless code is determined based on at least the SNR threshold, and a power allocation for each layer of the initial block is then calculated based on the determined noise threshold. The calculated power allocation may ensure that each layer of the initial block experiences the SNR threshold. Power is then allocated to each layer of a block proximate to the initial block such that each layer of the proximate block has an effective SNR equivalent to the SNR threshold. The allocating step for the proximate block is then repeated for each of the plurality of repeated blocks subsequent to the initial block to allocate power to each layer of the plurality of repeated blocks.

  • Patent number: 4583369
Abstract: In a steam power plant, a system is provided for early detection of a rupture or extensive leak from the feedwater tubing in the feedwater heaters. The system senses the temperature and pressure in the steam space of each feedwater heater. A pressure rise followed by a temperature drop in the steam space of a feedwater heater is recognized as being caused by a rupture or extensive leak in the feedwater heater and in response to such occurrance, an alarm is activated and a power assisted check valve is closed in the extraction line feeding extraction steam from the turbine to the feedwater heater.
