  • Patent number: 10617204
Abstract: A furniture unit includes at least one substrate having an upper surface, a lower surface, a proximal peripheral surface, a distal peripheral surface, a first seam, and a second seam. The lower surface is opposite the upper surface. The proximal peripheral surface extends from the upper surface to the lower surface. The distal peripheral surface is opposite the proximal peripheral surface and extends from the upper surface to the lower surface. The second seam is spaced apart from the first seam. The first and second seams extend in a direction parallel to the proximal peripheral surface. The proximal peripheral surface engages the lower surface such that the substrate defines a first hollow support.

  • Patent number: 10034543
Abstract: A furniture unit includes at least one shelf. The shelf includes a substrate having an upper surface, a lower surface opposite the upper surface, a proximal peripheral surface, a distal peripheral surface, a first seam, and a second seam. The proximal peripheral surface engages one of the distal peripheral surface, the upper surface, and the lower surface.

  • Publication number: 20090217847
Abstract: A task table (100) nests inconspicuously with a furniture case good (200). The table (100) has a base (110), a pedestal (120), and a table top (130). The pedestal (120) supports the table top (130) above the base (110). The case good (200) has a front (250), an opposite back, a left side (252), an opposite right side, and a top (214). The sides (252) extend generally upward from a supporting surface (254) and support the top (214) above the surface (254). A table nest (230) is defined between the surface (254) and the top (214), extends between the sides (252), and removably receives the table top (130) in sliding engagement. A base nest (210) is defined between the sides (252), extends generally upward from the surface (254), and removably receives the base (110) in sliding engagement. A pedestal nest (220) extends from the base nest (210) to the table nest (230) and removably receives the pedestal (120).

  • Patent number: 5672130
Abstract: A basketball system having has a ballasted base, an adjustable support system comprising two pole sections, a backboard, a hoop structure, and a net. They include an upper pole section and a lower pole section, and may be operated either telescopically or non-telescopically. The base has a first socket that receives the lower pole section, and a second socket is sized to receive the upper pole section when the system is operated in the non-telescoping mode. The hoop structure is provided with a neck flange for attaching the hoop structure to a recess in the upper telescoping pole section. The net is attached to the hoop structure by a net retention hoop on which the net is threadedly engaged.
