  • Publication number: 20250132549
Abstract: Devices and systems for bus duct, busbars, and busways for high-amperage applications are described. An example assembly may include a first conductor assembly. The assembly also includes two or more electrical bar trunks. The two or more electrical bar trunks are each either a distribution bar or a transportation bar. The two or more electrical bar trunks are electrically connected to the first conductor assembly at a first end of each of the two or more electrical bar trunks. The assembly further includes a second conductor assembly. Each of the two or more electrical bar trunks are electrically connected to the second conductor assembly at a second end of each of the two or more electrical bar trunks.

  • Publication number: 20190331532
Abstract: Systems and methods for monitoring one or more target components of an electrical supply system are disclosed. A metering system includes one or more infrared sensors positioned to detect an amount of thermal energy emitted from the one or more target components of the electrical supply system. The one or more infrared sensors transmit temperature data representative of the amount of thermal energy. The metering system also includes one or more processors and one or more non-transitory memory modules communicatively coupled to the one or more processors and the one or more infrared sensors. The one or more processors store machine-readable instructions that, when executed, cause the one or more processors to receive the temperature data generated by the one or more infrared sensors and control the one or more infrared sensors based on the temperature data.

  • Publication number: 20140293516
Abstract: A power feed assembly for an electrical busway includes a housing and a fuse support coupled to the housing. The fuse support includes a non-conductive support member having a number of first conductive members and a number of second conductive members coupled thereto. Each of the first members are structured to couple a line voltage conductor passing through an opening in the housing to the support member and each of the second members are structured to be in electrical communication with a respective busbar of a section of electrical busway coupled to the housing. The support member is structured to have a number of fuses coupled thereto such that each fuse forms a portion of an electrical pathway between a respective one of the number of first conductive members and a respective one of the number of second conductive members.
