  • Publication number: 20250088706
Abstract: A synthesized, advertisement-based, video stream is generated first by receiving a video stream essentially consisting of a representative image of a person, a video stream comprising a place, and a video stream comprising an advertisement, and then combining the video stream essentially consisting of the representative image of the person with the video stream comprising the place and with the video stream comprising the advertisement into the synthesized, advertisement-based, video stream for transmission to an end-user device via which to display the synthesized, advertisement-based, video stream.

  • Publication number: 20250082094
Abstract: Proposed are schemes, solutions, concepts, designs, methods and systems pertaining to aiding and/or improving image acquisition from a vibratory personal care device having a camera. Embodiments propose mapping at least one region of the captured image to a position of the vibratory portion. Using the position of the vibratory portion the pixel shift for the at least one region can be calculated and pixel data then shifted to construct an image of improved quality. Thus, by compensating for the vibratory motion improved images (e.g. images exhibiting less distortion) may be constructed/generated.

  • Patent number: 12250428
Abstract: A system may selectively deliver interactive portions of a piece of content, based for example on a recipient user's historical tendency to use interactive portions of prior content. Multiple levels of interactivity may be defined for a given piece of content, such as an advertisement, and different users may receive different levels of interactivity based on how much they use interactive features. Some users may receive no interactive features at all, while others may receive the interactive features, and despite the fact that all of the users' devices may be perfectly capable of processing the interactive features for the user. The omission from transmission may conserve bandwidth and transmission resources.

  • Patent number: 12239483
Abstract: An ultrasound transducer unit (12), e.g. probe, is configured with a friction guiding function. The transducer unit (12) comprises a vibration generating means (20) at a tissue contact area, and has means for sensing a sliding direction of the transducer unit across a tissue surface (42) at which the contact area is incident. The tissue surface may be an external skin surface or an internal tissue surface, e.g. in case of a catheter. A control means is operable to control the vibration of the vibration generator to adjust a level of friction at the tissue contact area. This is used by the control means to implement a friction guiding function for guiding a user in sliding the unit across the incident surface, e.g. toward a target location (44), based on controlling the friction level responsive to sensed sliding direction, for instance providing lower friction when sliding is in a target direction, while leaving other directions with relative higher frictional resistance.

  • Publication number: 20250067661
Abstract: A sensor device for measuring levels of one or more stereoisomers in body fluids, for example lactate in sweat. The device includes a body fluid collection means and an optical measurement system. The measurement of the isomer levels is based on measuring an optical property of an incident light which is known to be modified in a reliable and reproducible way by intrinsic optical activity of at least one isomer within the sample. By measuring the optical property, an indication of concentration of at least one stereoisomer can be derived. For example, D- and L-lactate are enantiomers and the optical activity of each has the effect of changing a rotation angle of light polarization. It also has the effect of changing a central frequency of a spectral composition of the incident light. In each case a polarization state modification is applied to the light before or after application to the sample.

  • Publication number: 20250056126
Abstract: Proposed are schemes, solutions, concepts, designs, methods and systems pertaining to aiding and/or improving image acquisition from a vibratory personal care device having an image capture device. Embodiments propose controlling an exposure parameter of the image capture device based on a parameter of the periodic vibration waveform. Through control of an exposure parameter of the image capture device, improved images (e.g. images exhibiting less blur and/or distortion) may be obtained. In this way, improved images may be obtained from a vibratory personal care device.

  • Patent number: 12216827
Abstract: Method for generating haptic feedback responses starts with processor causing communication interface for communication session to be displayed on first user interface and on a second user interface. Processor detects first touch input on first user interface and second touch input on second user interface. Processor monitors location of the first touch input on the first user interface and location of the second touch input on the second user interface. Processor determines distance between location of first touch input on first user interface and location on first user interface corresponding to location of second touch input on second user interface. Processor causes the first user interface and the second user interface to generate a haptic feedback response based on the distance. The haptic feedback response increases in intensity or speed as the distance decreases and decreases in intensity or speed as the distance increases. Other embodiments are described herein.
