The needle may include a shank and a needle head secured to the shank. The needle head may include a bundle of three pins (needles), with a point (tip or apex) of each pin being bent, deformed, deflected or otherwise curved inwardly toward a longitudinal axis of the bundle of pins. The method for constructing the needling may include securing the pins in a bundle, curving the points, and mounting the bundle to a needle shank.
