  • Publication number: 20240077282
Abstract: An anti-cant indicator assembly, components thereof, and associated methods. The anti-cant indicator assembly indicates the orientation of a weapon with respect to vertical. The anti-cant indicator assembly includes a mount configured to mount to the weapon, a level including a vial containing a bubble and a pivot connection connecting the level to the mount. The pivot connection is configured to permit movement of the level with respect to the mount about the pivot connection between an operational position in which the bubble can be referenced by the user for indicating orientation of the weapon with respect to vertical, and a stowed position different from the operational position. The pivot connection can include a retainer configured to releasably retain the level in at least one of the operational position or the stowed position. The level can be selectively movable with respect to the mount to calibrate the anti-cant indicator.

  • Publication number: 20230017502
Abstract: According to an aspect of an embodiment, operations may comprise for each of the set of geographic X-positions, accessing an HD map of a geographical region surrounding the geographic X-position, determining a convergence range for the geographic X-position, and storing the convergence range for the geographic X-position in the HD map. The operations may also comprise accessing the HD map, predicting a next geographic X-position of a target vehicle, predicting a covariance of the predicted next geographic X-position, accessing the convergence range for the geographic X-position in the HD map closest to the predicted next geographic X-position, estimating a current geographic X-position of the target vehicle by performing a localization algorithm, and determining a confidence value for the estimated current geographic X-position of the target vehicle based on the predicted next geographic X-position, the predicted covariance, and the accessed convergence range.

  • Patent number: 10922339
Abstract: Portable globes may be provided for viewing regions of interest in a Geographical Information System (GIS). A method for providing a portable globe for a GIS may include determining one or more selected regions corresponding to a geographical region of a master globe. The method may further include organizing geospatial data from the master globe based on the selected region and creating the portable globe based on the geospatial data. The portable globe may be smaller in data size than the master globe. The method may include transmitting the portable globe to a local device that may render the selected region at a higher resolution than the remainder of the portable globe in the GIS. A system for providing a portable globe may include a selection module, a fusion module and a transmitter. A system for updating a portable globe may include a packet bundler and a globe cutter.

  • Publication number: 20200180495
Abstract: A lateral brace for stabilizing a bunk on a boat trailer. The brace includes an anchor bracket attached to 3 rigid portion of the trailer and a bunk bracket attached to a bunk or to a bracket connecting the bunk to the trailer. An adjustable link connects the anchor bracket to the bunk bracket. The length of the adjustable link can be varied in order to place a desired lateral force on the bunk. This lateral force counteracts the splaying force applied by a boat hull resting on the bunk.
