The techniques may include obtaining a translation a portion of a work from a translator of a specified level of experience. The translation may be sent to a reader and feedback may be received from the reader regarding the translation. A determination may be made as to whether to proceed with obtaining a complete translation of the work based on the feedback. In some instances, the translator may be evaluated based on the feedback.
