Abstract: The present invention is directed to a bag for storing quilts, afghans, linens, blankets, hand-made clothing and other hand-made items. The present invention is further directed to a novel method of folding the item using interior flaps to protect the item. The storage bag of this invention includes an outer layer comprising a breathable, non-woven material, an interior layer that prevents damaging the quilt, a non-snagging sliding fastener proving access to an interior of the bag, and one or more interior flaps to protect the folded item.

The sewing basket of this invention includes a base, an upper frame and a collapsible side walls connecting the base and the upper frame. The basket may switch from a collapsed position with the side walls collapsed bringing the upper frame in proximity to the base and an extended position where the side walls are maintained in an extended position with a support.

A flexible sleeve fitted between the inner surface of the collar and the outer surface of the tubular member creates resistance to rotation of the tabletop with respect to the pedestal. Finally, an adjustable thumbscrew extending through the collar and against the outer wall of the flexible sleeve enables an operator to vary the resistance to rotation of the top with respect to the pedestal.
