  • Publication number: 20210254419
Abstract: A downhole tool control apparatus includes a control assembly, a stroking assembly, and a pocket sleeve positioned in an outer sub. The control assembly and stroking assembly are independently slidable axially within the outer sub. The control assembly and stroking assembly slide depending on the flow rate of fluid through the downhole tool actuator. The stroking assembly includes a spline barrel having a spline projection positioned within a spline pocket formed in the pocket sleeve. The pocket sleeve and control assembly include one or more ratchet teeth positioned in the pocket sleeve such that as the flow rate is changed between a high and a low flow rate, the spline projection engages the ratchet teeth until an actuated cycle is completed, allowing the downhole tool actuator to move to an actuation position.

The system includes a flow control device in fluid communication with a riser chilled water supply line, a riser chilled water return line, a riser heated water supply line, and a riser heated water return line. The flow control device includes first control valves and second control valves. Terminal device supply lines extend from the flow control device and are connected to respective first control valves. Terminal device return lines extend from the flow control device and are connected to respective second control valves. The first control valves and the second control valves cooperate to supply required chilled water or heated water through the terminal device supply lines to terminal devices based on the cooling/heating requirements of the terminal devices.

  • Publication number: 20210228375
Abstract: An intervertebral spacer and stabilization implant includes a plate having sockets configured for retaining a fastener passable through the socket and into an adjacent vertebral body. One or more connecting projections extend from a side of the plate, to mate with projections extending from a spacer body. A plurality of teeth project from at least one of the upper or lower surfaces of the spacer body, and a chamber is formed through the spacer body to enable bone fusion between the vertebrae. The combined plate and spacer may be inserted to lie completely within the intervertebral space, or a portion of the plate may overlie a vertebral body.

  • Patent number: 11065045
Abstract: A device is disclosed for reducing a vertebral compression fracture, comprising a superior end plate and an inferior end plate disposed along a vertical axis. The superior end plate and the inferior end plate are slidably separable in a vertical direction along the vertical axis. An interior chamber is provided in fluid communication with a port extending from an exterior to the interior chamber. The device is deployable within a vertebral body and expandable within the vertebral body by injecting a flowable material into the interior chamber thereby displacing the superior and inferior end plates along the vertical axis.

  • Patent number: 11069217
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for detecting an object, such as a person. For example, a sensing system may comprise a sensor arrangement. The sensor arrangement may comprise a passive sensor and an active sensor. The active sensor may be placed into a sleep state (e.g., a relatively low powered state) until awakened by the passive sensor. For example, responsive to detecting a presence of an object (e.g., a nurse entering a patient's room), the passive sensor may awaken the active sensor from the sleep state to an active state for detecting motion and/or distance of the object within a detection zone to create object detection data (e.g., an indication of a hygiene opportunity for the nurse). The active sensor may transition from the active state to the sleep state responsive to a detection timeout and/or a determination that the object left the detection zone.

  • Patent number: 11055178
Abstract: A method of providing an error occurrence estimate for a proposed software update, before the proposed software update is created, includes training a learning process to cause the learning process to learn a correlation between the complexity of the previous software updates and the error occurrences of the previous software updates. The complexity information may include the number of lines of code and the number of check-in operations that occurred in connection with creation of the previous software updates. The trained learning process is then provided with expected complexity information of a proposed software update, and used to generate an error estimate including the number of errors that are likely to occur, the severity of the errors that are likely to occur, and the amount of software developer time that should be expected to be incurred to correct the errors.

  • Publication number: 20210200834
Abstract: A collaborative software development environment includes a centralized repository security service that monitors a repository database of the collaborative software development environment for change notifications or events. When a change is noticed (e.g., pull request), the source repository is cloned and suitable images are spun up by an orchestrator, each of which is configured to perform a static analysis operation against the source code of the cloned repository. Results of each static analysis operation are stored in a database that can be accessed by client devices.

  • Patent number: 11037567
Abstract: A method to transcribe communications may include obtaining, during a communication session, audio that includes a voice of a user participating in the communication session. The communication session may be configured for verbal communication. The method may further include establishing a network connection with a transcription system and sending the audio to the transcription system. In some embodiments, the transcription system may be configured to generate a transcript of the audio. The method may also include obtaining the transcript of the audio from the transcription system during the communication session and monitoring the audio to determine when the voice is inactive. In some embodiments, in response to the voice being inactive, the method may include stopping the sending of the audio to the transcription system while maintaining the communication session.

  • Patent number: 11026800
Abstract: A joint spacer therapeutically maintains separation of bones of a joint. A carriage is slideably retained within the frame and has at least one ramped surface. An actuator screw is threadably engaged with the frame, and rotatably connected to the carriage, to cause the carriage to slideably move within the frame when the actuator screw is rotated. First and second endplates engage the bones of the joint, and each has at least one ramped surface that is mateable with the ramped surface of the carriage, whereby when the carriage is slideably moved by rotation of the actuator screw, the endplates ramped surface slides against the carriage ramped surface to cause the endplates to move along an axis transverse to the longitudinal axis of the frame, to increase the height of the spacer. Piercing elements are connected to the carriage to pierce bone of the joint when the carriage is moved.
