  • Publication number: 20250107874
Abstract: A hand-held dental flossing device facilitates a user to control feed and tension of a dental floss during the flossing of teeth. The hand-held dental flossing device comprises a body having a handle, a head with plurality of arms, and a floating platform. The plurality of arms comprises closed loops to facilitate a passage of a dental floss. The floating platform comprises a first spool, and a second spool. The first spool could unwind the dental floss for discharging upon rotation by a user. The second spool is adapted to wind a used portion of the dental floss upon rotation of the first spool and the second spool simultaneously by the user. The hand-held dental flossing device enables the user to control the tension of the dental floss at various modes by operating the first and second spools.

  • Patent number: 12221350
Abstract: Provided herein are apparatuses, systems, and methods useful for continuous thermolysis of carbonaceous matter. In certain aspects and embodiments, the invention presents continuous thermolysis of carbonaceous matter in a controlled temperature and steam environment to produce a low volatility char, with subsequent steam activation of the char under pressure producing activated carbon and pressurized syn-gas, all of which are carried out in a reactor system including one or more vessels. The syn-gas is enriched in hydrogen in a high temperature shift reactor and separated in a pressurized swing adsorber to provide a pressurized pure hydrogen stream and a low-pressure combustible tail gas.

  • Publication number: 20240343159
Abstract: Power management system for battery-operated vehicle including electric motor, and kinetic energy devices for capturing kinetic friction energy produced by moving parts in the vehicle. A central direct current (DC) supercharge component (CDCSC) converts kinetic friction energy into an electric current. The CDCSC connects to a current toggle that directs electric current to battery packs i.e., a first battery pack and second battery pack for powering the electric motor. The current toggle directs electric current to battery packs to recharge/store power. The power management system governs power output from the battery packs, manages depletion/efficiency of the battery packs. The power management system includes a parallel port that directs outgoing power feeds from the battery packs to the electric motor. The electric motor connects to a drive shaft of the vehicle. The power management system includes an additional battery pack that stores excess kinetic friction energy captured for external transfer.

  • Publication number: 20240268967
Abstract: A joint spacer therapeutically maintains separation of bones of a joint. A carriage is slideably retained within the frame and has at least one ramped surface. An actuator screw is threadably engaged with the frame, and rotatably connected to the carriage, to cause the carriage to slideably move within the frame when the actuator screw is rotated. First and second endplates engage the bones of the joint, and each has at least one ramped surface that is mateable with the ramped surface of the carriage, whereby when the carriage is slideably moved by rotation of the actuator screw, the endplates ramped surface slides against the carriage ramped surface to cause the endplates to move along an axis transverse to the longitudinal axis of the frame, to increase the height of the spacer. Piercing elements are connected to the carriage to pierce bone of the joint when the carriage is moved.

  • Publication number: 20240156075
Abstract: The invention provides an improved fishing guide, specifically the tip top guide style. The guide consists of a single continuous piece of wire, bent in a manner to create a guide foot, guide ring, an elbow where the wires remain parallel after bending away from the vertical guide foot either inwards towards the guide ring, or outwards away from the guide ring, and a barrier on the rear portion of the guide above the guide foot that prevents the line from sliding between the two wires emerging from the guide foot. This protects the line from pinch points that are common in tip top style guides made of a single wire.
