Abstract: Electronic card tracking systems and methods are described that support electronic scrip programs and transactions. An electronic scrip provider receives transaction data of a transaction between a merchant and a supporter. The transaction data is electronic data of the transaction, and the transaction is a purchase transaction involving use of a card. The merchant is automatically debited by a rebate amount for the transaction. A first portion of the rebate amount debited from the merchant is automatically credited to an organization. A second portion of the rebate amount debited from the merchant is automatically credited to a scrip distributor.
