  • Patent number: 8598413
Abstract: This invention relates in part to plant breeding and herbicide tolerant plants. This invention includes a novel aad-1 transformation event in corn plants comprising a polynucleotide sequence, as described herein, inserted into a specific site within the genome of a corn cell. In some embodiments, said event/polynucleotide sequence can be “stacked” with other traits, including, for example, other herbicide tolerance gene(s) and/or insect-inhibitory proteins. Additionally, the subject invention provides assays for detecting the presence of the subject event in a sample (of corn grain, for example). The assays can be based on the DNA sequence of the recombinant construct, inserted into the corn genome, and on the genomic sequences flanking the insertion site. Kits and conditions useful in conducting the assays are also provided. The subject invention also includes related methods of controlling weeds.

  • Patent number: 8504425
Abstract: An advertisement is dynamically generated using e.g. one or more computing devices. The generation of the advertisement includes generating a box configured to store information about a product to be included in the advertisement. The product is associated with a product identifier. A global unique identifier for the box is generated. A combination of the global unique identifier of the box with the product identifier of the product about which the box is configured to store information is stored as integration data. An ad elements data store is queried to retrieve a set of elements for the product. Each element in the set of elements was previously included in one or more different advertisements. The box is populated with an element of the set of elements for the product about which the box is configured to store information. The advertisement including the box is automatically generated.
