    Abstract: There is provided a fan assembly comprising a fan body comprising an air inlet, a motor-driven impeller contained within the fan body and arranged to generate an airflow, and a nozzle mounted on the fan body, the nozzle being arranged to receive the airflow from the fan body and to emit the airflow from the fan assembly. The nozzle comprises a base that connects to an upper end of the fan body and encloses one or more electronic components of the fan assembly that are provided on an upper surface of the fan body.
