  • Patent number: 11980263
Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable shelter assembly. The assembly includes a support; and an expandable shelter for being supported by the support and expanding to shelter at least one person. The shelter includes ribs extending from the support. Each rib includes one or more proximal elements pivotally mounted to the support. Each rib further includes a distal element extending from the proximal elements and configured to move outwardly to expand the shelter when the proximal elements pivot in a first direction. Advantageously, the distal elements may be simply pulled down one at a time to lift the connected proximal elements and extend the ribs, which is advantageous in windy conditions, or pulled down together to lift the proximal elements and extend the ribs.

  • Publication number: 20240153347
Abstract: A game terminal allows a player to participate in the linked transaction including a linked deal withing an initial deal via their client account interacting with a management system. The management system manages the execution of the linked transaction including execution of the initial deal, execution of the linked deal, and movement and monitoring of capital during execution of the linked transaction. Initial deal tickets are electronically allocated to player accounts by the management system. The linked deal may be a secondary deal that is lightly linked to the initial deal. In particular, the initial deal may include an access ticket to the linked deal, and the access ticket allows the management system to grant the player a play in the linked deal. Both the initial deal and the linked deal can have prizes, and the management system may resolve those prizes, as necessary.

  • Patent number: 11977669
Abstract: Methods and systems for securing data processing systems are disclosed. A data processing system may be operably connected to other devices via ports. When operably connected, some devices connected via the ports may cause undesired actions to be performed. To limit physical access to the ports, a security apparatus may be used to lock the ports. The security apparatus may transition between states where it may be inserted into openings for the ports and may be locked to the openings for the ports. When so locked, physical access to the ports may be limited.

  • Patent number: 11979292
Abstract: Network rules established on a device can establish communication protocol between applications running on the device and interfaces connected to the device. For example, a network rule can establish which application(s) can access which interface(s), and when an application is not assigned to an interface, the application is not granted network access to the interface(s). In some instances, interfaces can be aggregated together to create an aggregation (e.g., link aggregation or a bridge aggregation), thus allowing the network rule to use the aggregation for multiple applications. An aggregation, such as a link aggregation, can be established as a shared rule that allows access to the interface by multiple applications. Alternatively, an aggregation, such as a bridge aggregation, can be established as a reserve rule that permits only a particular application, and no other application(s), access to the interface.

  • Publication number: 20240140783
Abstract: A device and method for manufacturing a device comprising two semiconductor dice. The device is formed by a first die and a second die. The first die is of semiconductor material and integrates electronic components. The second die has a main surface, forms patterned structures, and is bonded to the first die. Internal electrical coupling structures electrically couple the main surface of the first die to the second die. External connection regions extend on the main surface of the first die. A package packages the first die, the second die and the internal electrical coupling structures and partially surrounds the external connection regions, the external connection regions partially protruding from the package.

  • Patent number: 11972775
Abstract: The present system ensures that external noise sources do not taint sensor data recorded about a user's sleep parameters, to reduce false positives and false negatives, and provides a more accurate record of the user's sleep sounds, by cycling on and off noise sources. Additionally, the present system, in one embodiment, may be used to track changes in sound patterns from the user and from the environment. This may lead to early warning of health issues, as well as issues with the devices in the bedroom.

  • Publication number: 20240134850
Abstract: The present disclosure is related to techniques for converting a natural language utterance to a logical form query and deriving a natural language interpretation of the logical form query. The techniques include accessing a Meaning Resource Language (MRL) query and converting the MRL query into a MRL structure including logical form statements. The converting includes extracting operations and associated attributes from the MRL query and generating the logical form statements from the operations and associated attributes. The techniques further include translating each of the logical form statements into a natural language expression based on a grammar data structure that includes a set of rules for translating logical form statements into corresponding natural language expressions, combining the natural language expressions into a single natural language expression, and providing the single natural language expression as an interpretation of the natural language utterance.
