Abstract: A compact scalable modular system and process for treatment of water. Various water treatment components may be integrated into a scalable module to reduce an overall footprint of the module and accommodate easier installation without significant time and cost. The integrated treatment components in the module may be customized based on the target pollutants to treat, such as soluble and insoluble organic and inorganic substances, or expected quality of effluent water, such as for human consumption, and industrial or environmental usage, to achieve. A two-phase separation system may be used in a combination with any treatment component. One such embodiment includes a treatment component in a combination with a coagulation and flocculation treatment component so that the pollutants may be coagulated and flocculated before the separation process of the coagulants and flocculants.
