  • Publication number: 20220095610
Abstract: Container system and method for freezing (and subsequently thawing) a liquid such as a drug substance, such that all containers in a set have a uniform width, hence uniform freeze-path length, in the widthwise direction and perpendicular to major walls of the containers, irrespective of the particular length, height, and volumetric capacity of the various containers in the set. This leads to uniform freezing performance and thereby reduces cryoconcentration. The system also eliminates or reduces ice-bridging, and the potential for containers rupturing during freezing and thawing operations.

  • Publication number: 20210274840
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to battery modules for electronic inhalation devices, namely electronic cigarettes and other vaping devices with superior performance and user control over device variables. In some instances, the present device is configured to properly interpret the attached atomizer's electrical resistance and subsequently calibrate the proper electrical output. This prevents the device from overheating the coil and producing temperatures that will degrade the expected liquids. Further, the user may be able to input a code for the corresponding “flash points” of the intended liquid to determine the optimum output for both delivery of compounds formulated and for the proper temperature range of the device. In other embodiments, the device is configured to interface with an electronic device such as a smart phone.

  • Publication number: 20210003003
Abstract: Systems and techniques for determining properties of a formation comprising are disclosed. A test tool attached to test string comprising a fluid conduit is deployed to a test position within a wellbore. The deployment includes hydraulically isolating a portion of the wellbore proximate the test tool to form an isolation zone containing the test position. A fluid inflow test is performed within the isolation zone and an initial formation property and a fluid property are determined based on the fluid inflow test. A fluid injection test is performed within the isolation zone including applying an injection fluid through the test string into the isolation zone, wherein the flow rate or pressure of the injection fluid application is determined based, at least in part, on the at least one of the formation property and fluid property, The fluid injection test further includes measuring pressure within the isolation zone to determine a pressure transient associated with the injection of the injection fluid.
