  • Patent number: 11370469
Abstract: A collapsible child's stroller with a handle frame (30), a front wheel frame (10) and a rear wheel frame (20), mutually connected at a hinge joint (12, 22, 42) for mutual angular displacement between folded and unfolded configurations. The hinge joint has two spaced apart, parallel hinge axes, about which the frames (10, 20, 30) mutually rotate. The stroller is further provided with a locking element (43, 44) moveable between a locked position in which the frames (10, 20, 30) are locked in the unfolded configuration, and an unlocked position allowing the frames (10, 20, 30) to rotate to the folded configuration. The locking element (43, 44) moves in a direction traverse to the parallel hinge axes to better transfer loads between the frames.

  • Publication number: 20170088309
Abstract: A method of making a pallet (10, 210) includes providing a pallet inner core (16, 218), and attaching, by adhesive, first and second complementarily shaped plastic skin shells (12, 14, 226) to portions of the core, and interconnecting the shells by heat fusing or interlocking elements. Each shells is formed of two plastic materials. The core is formed with reinforcing truss beams (700) therein, each having an upper chord part (710) which is flush with an upper surface of the core and in contact with the upper shell or adhesive. Each beam has webs (708) connected to chords, straight central portions (702) and end portions (704) extending downwardly into leg portions of the pallet. Also disclosed is a pallet having such features.

  • Publication number: 20140358215
Abstract: Apparatus for deploying a tubular medical (200) device in vivo comprises an elongate element (10) for passing into the bore of the medical device, a deployment device having at least one arm for engaging with the medical device, the arm being moveable in a radial direction relative to the longitudinal axis of the elongate element from a first position to a second position, the second position being spaced radially further from the elongate element than the first position, and a thread (60) for the arm, said thread being associated with the arm such that pulling on the thread moves said arm from the second position towards the first position, whereby in use movement of the arm from the first position to the second position enables radial deployment of the medical device.

  • Publication number: 20060179793
Abstract: A container for a relatively brittle product, such as a haemostatic bandage, including a body and a lid for closing the container to hermetically seal the product therein. A sealing rim of the lid includes a layer of elastomeric material which sealingly engages with a sealing rim of the container body to provide a first, static, seal and a second, dynamic, seal. The elastomeric sealing material extends into the interior of the container beneath the lid to provide an elastomeric formation operative to engage an upper surface of the product within the container so as to apply a resilient bias thereto to hold a lower face of the product against the base of the container. The elastomeric formation thereby acts to inhibit substantial movement of the product within the container.

  • Publication number: 20060151536
Abstract: A substance dispensing device is disclosed having a body that defines a chamber for receiving a substance capsule. The capsule is operable to dispense substance therefrom and has an outlet through which substance is dispensed. The body has two relatively movable parts that are moved relatively apart from a rest position to condition the device for use. A closure member associated with the movable part obstructs the outlet when the movable parts are in the rest position.
