  • Publication number: 20240132842
Abstract: Genetically modified CCNT1 and XPO1 genes encoding proteins that inhibit virus infection in cells. The genetically modified CCNT1 gene encodes a protein with a C261Y substitution with respect to the human CCNT1 protein. The genetically modified XPO1 gene encodes a protein with P411T, M412V, and/or F414S substitutions with respect to the human XPO1 protein. The genetically modified CCNT1 and XPO1 genes can be introduced in cells. The cells comprising the genetically modified CCNT1 and XPO1 genes can be introduced in a subject with a virus infection to treat the infection.

  • Publication number: 20100025179
Abstract: A mounting base apparatus can be attached semi permanently to the base of a small engine, or built into the base of the engine, or into an implement of power equipment. This mounting device engages a singular point or a plurality of points provided for this purpose, to allow quick disconnection of the engine, so that the engine may be used on other implements conveniently. Because a single engine is to be used on various implements, provision is also made (on each implement) to support the rotating (work piece or transmission shaft) via an auxiliary spindle assembly on the implement in the absence of an engine. Further, provision is made to transmit torque from the engine through this auxiliary spindle shaft via a flexible coupling arrangement. Further, provision is made to transmit the motion (generally push-pull) of the throttle cable, where applicable, to the engine, also in a quick-disconnect manner.
