  • Patent number: 11588332
Abstract: A method, system and computer-readable medium where an integrator application identifies an excess energy condition based on a supply load of electricity exceeding a consumptive load. The integrator application directs an air scrubber to utilize the excess electricity to remove carbon dioxide from the ambient air and routes the carbon dioxide to an enhanced coal bed methane well where methane is displaced by the carbon dioxide. In response to identifying an energy deficient condition based on the consumptive load exceeding the supply load, the integrator application routes the methane to a gas power plant and directs the gas power plant to convent the methane to electricity.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 4, 2021
Date of Patent: February 21, 2023
    Assignee: GLENROCK VENTURES II, LLC

  • Patent number: 9317182
Abstract: Approaches are disclosed for generating a menu that may be used to provide a set of bounded options for populating associated cells of a table. In certain embodiments, the menu is automatically generated based at least in part on the initial content of one or more cells to be associated with the menu. In certain embodiments, the options listed in the menu may be edited by a user or reformatted based on logic associated with the menu generation process.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 11, 2013
Date of Patent: April 19, 2016
    Assignee: APPLE INC.
Inventors: Mark Bernstein, Matthew R. Lehrian, Ryan M. Olshavsky, Yik Shing Yip, Christopher Douglas Weeldreyer, Jane H. Chronis

  • Patent number: 8814765
Abstract: A hand held exercise device for providing a user with a portable workout. The device may generally comprise a central handle diametrically disposed within and spanning across a ring element having a toroidally shaped inner chamber. Internal bumpers within the inner chamber act to limit the range of motion or travel of at least one mobile element within the inner chamber. Rotational forces imparted by the user upon the handle cause movement of the at least one mobile element that is responded to and countered with user muscle flexion. In this manner, a user may perform a satisfactory workout by continually imparting and then resisting rotation force in alternating clockwise and counterclockwise directions.
