Publication number: 20250104492Abstract: Aircraft recording system configuration devices and methods are disclosed. The systems and methods provide a context-sensitive interface for rapid configuration. An aircraft recording system is operatively coupled to a data collection interface that is powered off and in an unconfigured state upon an initial installation of the aircraft recording system configuration device onboard an aircraft. A physical interface is disposed on an outer surface of the aircraft recording system configuration device, such that activating the physical interface causes an initial configuration of the aircraft recording system to be established. An indicator is further provided that disposed on the outer surface of the aircraft recording system configuration device, wherein the indicator is configured to indicate different states of the aircraft recording system.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 17, 2024Publication date: March 27, 2025Inventors: Adam Blake Wolfe, Haines Todd, Mark Christopher Hansen

Publication number: 20250095413Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for data collection in connection with one or more aircraft. Avionics inputs are received, at an avionics data collection platform, regarding a plurality of avionics parameters. The avionics parameters may be associated with components of the aircraft and collected by way of avionics sensors. The avionics parameters are aggregated by way of the data collection platform. The aggregated avionics parameters are multiplexed at the data collection platform. The multiplexed and aggregated plurality of avionics parameters are transmitted over loosely-coupled networking connections to an aircraft recording system. The aircraft recording system includes a network collector and an embedded microcontroller system. A prioritized aggregation of the avionics parameters is provided by way of the network collector and the embedded microcontroller system to external systems.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 24, 2024Publication date: March 20, 2025Inventors: Adam Blake Wolfe, Haines Todd, Mark Christopher Hansen

Patent number: 10932145Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus are disclosed that provide in-service traffic and/or resource migration between processing units in a communications network. An example method includes one or more processing units communicating with at least one processing unit of a plurality of processing units, where the communicating corresponds to a plurality of resources and resource requirements of the plurality of processing units. The one or more processing units evaluate resource utilization and projected traffic of a subset of the plurality of processing units. The one or more processing units determine, based on the resource requirements, to migrate one or more selected interdependent resources for a service from one or more processing units to one or more receiving processing units of the plurality of processing units.Type: GrantFiled: October 14, 2019Date of Patent: February 23, 2021Assignee: TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET LM ERICSSON (PUBL)Inventors: Pui-Sze Ho, Lesley Mcghee, Mark Blake

Patent number: 7149909Abstract: In one embodiment of the invention, an integrated device is described that employs a mechanism to control power consumption of a graphics memory controller hub (GMCH) through both voltage and frequency adjustment of clock signal received from a clock generator. The GMCH comprises a graphics core and a circuit to alter operational behavior, such as the frequency of a render clock signal supplied to the graphics core. The circuit is adapted to monitor idleness of the graphics core and reduce a frequency level of the render clock signal if the idleness exceeds a determined percentage of time.Type: GrantFiled: May 9, 2002Date of Patent: December 12, 2006Assignee: Intel CorporationInventors: Ying Cui, Eric C. Patent number: 7051222Abstract: Methods and devices for power management of graphics or other computer subsystems are disclosed. In one embodiment, graphics software components are configurable in a manner that allows them to place the graphics subsystem is a “safe” state prior to a suspend event, and back into a “working” state after a resume event, without explicit support from an operating system (OS) power management driver. When operating in the absence of an OS-supplied driver, the graphics driver receives notification of power management events, and sends a message to a support application, which then causes the graphics to enter a quiescent state by taking exclusive ownership of the display and issuing standard device-independent OS graphics calls (for a power-down event) or to relinquish display ownership (for a power-up event). From within this quiescent state the graphics may be safely power managed without adverse effects to the graphics chips and without creating any instabilities in other graphics applications.Type: GrantFiled: December 31, 2002Date of Patent: May 23, 2006Assignee: Intel CorporationInventors: David A. Patent number: 7048056Abstract: A down-hole well tool is disclosed for removing debris from a well utilizing low pressure/suction. More particularly, the tool is adapted to generate the low pressure within a well bore for removing debris while being interconnectable to the end of a single duct tubing that extends to the surface. Use of the low pressure/suction allows removal of debris without of forcing such debris into the permeable formations of the well. In one application, the tool may be utilized during open-hole completion processes. In another application, the tool may be utilized to clean existing wells.Type: GrantFiled: August 11, 2003Date of Patent: May 23, 2006Inventor: Mark A. Blake

Publication number: 20050117545Abstract: A compact hybrid comprises reactive power-dividers and signal paths coupling the reactive power-dividers to provide a predetermined phase difference therebetween. The signal paths may have 90-degree bends therein to reduce a distance between adjacent reactive power-dividers to less than a physical distance associated with the predetermined phase difference in a stripline medium. The hybrid may be a 180-degree hybrid and may be part of RF circuitry of a wireless communication device to combine signals from a pair of antennas and to provide a sum signal and a difference signal. The RF circuitry may also comprise switching circuitry to select between the sum signal and the difference signal based on a signal quality of the sum and difference signals.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 2, 2003Publication date: June 2, 2005Inventors: David Wittwer, Mark Blake
