Abstract: A method for use in colourising a three-dimensional (3D) point cloud of an environment, the method including determining timing information indicative of a time of capture of a frame; identifying at least some 3D points of the point cloud in the frame based on the position of the camera and determining a local point cloud that captures a scene in the immediate vicinity of the camera, wherein a visibility check is performed on the local point cloud to determine points in the local point cloud that are visible from the perspective of the camera for a given frame; and determining a candidate colour for the at least some of the 3D points using a colour of a corresponding pixel in the frame extracted from the video data; and, assigning a colour to one or more points of the 3D point cloud using candidate colours obtained from multiple frames.

Abstract: A board game apparatus for teaching industrial safety rules and procedures includes a game board, playing pieces, question cards and a score card. The game board includes a representation of various component parts of an industrial organization, and a path connecting the component parts. During the course of the game, the playing pieces are moved along the path and the players answer questions from the question cards relating to various safety topics for the workplaces within the organization. The first player to answer questions successfully to each of the safety topics and return to the start position wins the game.

Abstract: Polyfunctional hexasubstituted benzene derivatives wherein at least three of the substituents are saturated carbon chains having from 1 to 21 carbon atoms and functional groups containing hetero functionalities at the ends of the carbon chains and the remainder of the 6 substituents are either saturated carbon chains containing from 1 to 21 carbon atoms or saturated carbon chains containing from 1 to 21 carbon atoms having a functional group including a hetero functional group containing N, O, S, P, or Si at the end of the chains. These derivatives are made by reacting a disubstituted alkyne wherein one or both of the substituents are saturated carbon chains having 1 to 21 carbon atoms to which hetero functional groups are attached with a palladium catalyst and isolating the resulting hexasubstituted benzene derivative.
