  • Patent number: 12654456
Abstract: A thermal inkjet printer device includes a housing defining a cartridge receiving slot with a cartridge install/removal opening, a nozzle plate opening, and a plurality of control pins along a bottom portion of the slot and spaced rearwardly of the nozzle plate opening. The cartridge receiving slot includes a forward upper side, spaced rearwardly of the nozzle plate opening, and a rear side that is curved such that, upon insertion of a thermal inkjet cartridge through the install/removal opening, a forward portion of the thermal inkjet cartridge engages on the forward upper side causing the thermal inkjet cartridge to rotate such that that a rear portion of the thermal inkjet cartridge engages the rear side of the slot, pushing a nose portion of the thermal inkjet cartridge forward toward the nozzle plate opening as the thermal inkjet cartridge rotates downward and moves further down into the slot.

  • Patent number: 12263984
Abstract: A label applying system includes a conveyance path for moving an item in a conveyance direction, and a label applying arm, including a free end with an associated tamp pad, the label applying arm linearly movable toward the conveyance path for applying a label to the moving item on the conveyance path. A connection between the tamp pad and the label applying arm comprises at least one rubber damper between the tamp pad and the label applying arm for enabling pivot of the tamp pad and absorbing impact force when the tamp pad contacts the moving item to apply the label to the moving item.

  • Patent number: 8135116
Abstract: A communication network that includes a signaling system seven (SS7) network is operated by associating call release messages, which are indicative of call failures in the communication network, with an originating point code (OPC) and/or a calling number. The rate at which calls originating from the originating point code and/or the calling number are admitted to the network may be adjusted based on the association between the call release messages and the originating point code and/or the calling number.

  • Publication number: 20050173263
Abstract: A set of methods controls the pumping action of and provides leak checking of a solid electrolyte oxygen sensor having internal and external electrodes. A first method performs a leak check on the sensor by forcing the sensor internal reference chamber to an evacuated state while seeking a minimum pumping current able to maintain this state. Further pumping control methods apply current pulses to the sensor electrodes to achieve a balanced state between an external oxygen partial pressure and an internal reference oxygen partial pressure. Reduction expressions modify the pulse parameters as a function of the sensor voltage output. A further expression modifies the pulse magnitude as a function of the internal reference chamber oxygen partial pressure. A further expression modifies the initial value of the pulse magnitude as a function of the oxygen partial pressure in a calibration gas during a calibration process.
