  • Publication number: 20150240922
Abstract: An actuator includes an actuator housing, a screw, a nut, a rod end, a torque bar, and a bidirectional stop. The torque bar extends through the screw and is configured to rotate therewith. The torque bar has a first end and a second end. The bidirectional stop is formed on the first end of the torque bar and is disposed external to the screw. The bidirectional stop has a first side and a second side. The first side has a third dog stop formed thereon, and the second side has a fourth dog stop formed thereon. The first dog stop engages the third dog stop when the nut is in the fully extended position, and the second dog stop engages the fourth dog stop when the nut is in the fully retracted position.

  • Publication number: 20130015258
Abstract: A scent-releasing strip includes a release liner and a plurality of tab units coupled to the liner. Each of the plurality of tab units includes a sealed pouch having a pad dosed with at least one scent-emitting substance. The scent may induce a physiological effect. The sealed pouch is disposed on a base label. The pad may be an aroma-containing pad that includes at least one of an oil or other substance that emits a desired fragrance.

  • Publication number: 20060265830
Abstract: An improved windshield wiper blade assembly having a resilient windscreen wiping element and further comprising a longitudinal passage there through. A support beam having a predetermined curvature and shape is positioned there within the passage having a generally complementary cross section to the longitudinal passage, preventing the rotational twisting of the resilient element around the beam. A further embodiment comprises a longitudinal fluid passage along the support beam in fluid connection to a windshield fluid supply. A plurality of apertures through the resilient member in connection with the fluid passage provide for the selective discharge of the fluid upon the windscreen. A still further embodiment comprises a wind deflector portion running at least partially along the resilient member for enhanced prevention of any twisting of the resilient member around the beam and increased downward force of the wiper assembly against the windscreen.

  • Patent number: 6928421
Abstract: A method and system for securely recording a verbal transaction, the method including the steps of recording an offer and an acceptance of the transaction as a digital audio file, generating a voice security token from the recorded digital audio file, and providing the generated voice security token to a buyer and/or a seller, wherein the voice security token provides authentication of the transaction. The voice security token is generated by sampling audio frequency and intensity set of the recorded digital audio file and converting the sampled information from a current time domain spectrum to a frequency domain spectrum to condense the sampled information. Finally, a digital file is generated from the condensed information, and encrypted to produce the voice security token.
