  • Patent number: 12265548
Abstract: To restore consistency of a digital twin database, identifiers with metadata imported from various data sources are processed by an encoder, which computes latent representations of the identifiers that are compared by an efficient similarity metric. If the respective similarity score exceeds a threshold, a match is detected between the identifiers. In that case, the digital twin database is updated by aligning the first identifier and the second identifier. This matching algorithm for equipment identifiers updates the digital twin data automatically and continuously by aligning identifiers which refer to the same piece of equipment. The updates flow directly into the digital twin database, thereby removing the manual effort. Using approximate nearest neighbor methods is highly efficient, especially for large plants. The encoder is implemented as an autoencoder which relies only on unlabeled training data.

  • Publication number: 20250036615
Abstract: To perform automated database updates, a text document is processed by a natural language processing engine, by way of tagging, by a pre-trained general named entity recognition annotation model and/or at least one domain-specific named entity recognition component, tokens in the text document with named entity recognition annotations. A neural network model processing the tokens and the named entity recognition annotations extracts a database update action from the text document and stores the database update action as structured data in a machine-readable form, which is then sent to a robotic process automation interface and executed by updating a database. This provides an extensible neural architecture for extracting and executing operational actions from text documents. Combining the use of annotated data with a neural network model is more flexible because it allows variations in the exact formulation which is used in the text document to express the database update action.

  • Publication number: 20050040947
Abstract: A system and method of discerning human intrusion from animal presence without compromising sensitivity to human intruders exhibiting low intensity infrared signatures. At least four infrared sensing elements are arranged with at least one horizontal pair and at least one vertical pair, such as within a quad-sensing element device. To generate an intrusion alert in a pet-immune mode, simultaneous changes in infrared energy must be registered in at least two vertically adjacent detection zones spanning two tiers of sensing elements, corresponding to detecting a standing or semi-standing human intruder. Intrusion is generated in a non-pet-immune detection mode in response to registering sufficient infrared activity within any one or more individual detection zones. The focal lengths of the lens elements and position of the lens tiers are configured to produce a vertical separation of detection tiers sufficient to prevent a pet from simultaneously occupying space in two vertically adjacent detection zones.
