Abstract: An article of jewelry that includes a bead with an opening forming a hole therethrough having a first section adapted to be releasably coupled to the second section, where the first section and section each include an inner surface and an outer surface, where the inner surfaces form absorbent material areas, where the absorbent material areas are at least partially filled with absorbent material adapted to absorb a fragrant liquid, where the first outer surface and the second outer surface are sufficiently porous for a scent from the fragrant liquid to be emitted, and where the first absorbent material and/or the second absorbent material is formed of at least one fiber.
