Abstract: The present invention is a moveable axle assembly that can be moved in a generally vertical direction and is constructed and arranged such as to be pivotally coupled to a motorized device, such as a skid steer loader. The moveable axle assembly comprises an axle assembly having a pair of wheels, actuator assemblies connected to the hydraulic system of the skid steer loader which enable movement of the moveable axle assembly with respect to the skid steer loader from an inoperative position where the wheels of the moveable axle assembly do not engage the surface upon which the original wheels of the skid steer loader are in contact with, to an operative position wherein the wheels of the moveable axle assembly are in contact with the surface that the original wheels of the skid steer loader are in contact with.
