    Abstract: An apparatus and a method for recovering hydrocarbon from a hydrocarbon producing well is provided. The apparatus comprises a two stage compression-assisted annular flow in which a first compression means is connected to a production tubing to flow gas and liquids, and optionally a second compression means is connected to a tubing/casing annulus to flow gas at a relatively unrestricted flow rate. The production tubing comprises a mixing means in the producing formation. Optionally, the tubing/casing annulus comprises a sealing means.
