Abstract: Catalytic processes employing rhodium complexes are disclosed, wherein the catalytic processes involve an initial step of activation of a C—H bond present within a hydrocarbon substrate. In contrast to prior art techniques, the catalytic processes of the invention can be conducted at low temperatures, and the catalytic compounds are themselves highly recyclable. Also disclosed are the rhodium complexes themselves and processes of making them.

Abstract: An audience matching system (“system”) maintains a plurality of audience polygons that enclose respective geographic regions and are associated with respective time periods, and respective target audiences. The system receives an advertisement request from a remote display system having a display at a particular geographic location, the request including an advertisement parameter that identifies a first target time period. The system selects a first audience polygon from the plurality of audience polygons, the selecting based in part on a geographic region associated with the first audience polygon enclosing the geographic location of the display and a time period associated with the first audience polygon being inclusive of the first target time period. The system determines a first target audience using the first audience polygon, and selects an advertisement associated with the first target audience. The system provides the advertisement to the remote display system.

Abstract: A location correction system receives a reported location of a mobile device. A set of possible geographic locations for the mobile device is determined based at least in part on the reported location and a device density map describing a historical distribution of mobile devices over a geographic region. A probability is determined for each location in the set of possible geographic locations, each probability indicating a likelihood that an associated possible geographic location represents a true location of the mobile device. Responsive to the determined probabilities, a possible geographic location in the set is selected. A true location of the mobile device is published based at least in part on the selected possible geographic location.

Abstract: A seal for a pill dispenser having a body including a plurality of recesses formed in a surface of the body, each recess having an open mouth bounded by a surrounding portion of the body surface, the seal comprising a cover film defining a plurality of apertures to provide access to the open mouths of the recesses, each aperture being cut in the cover film so as to be smaller than the open mouth of the corresponding recess and being closed by a liner cut from a liner film, the liner being larger than the aperture and being adhered to the cover film around the entire periphery of the aperture, the seal in use being adhered to the body surface of the pill dispenser so that the liners are located between the cover film and the open mouths of the corresponding recesses and each liner is removable.
