  • Publication number: 20250080801
Abstract: A method and system for helping to facilitate fingerprint-based automatic content recognition when audio may be subject to dialog enhancement (DE). An example method includes, for each of multiple audio time segments, (a) a computing system generating alternate digital reference fingerprint data representing the audio time segment, including at least (i) non-DE reference fingerprint data representing the audio time segment without the audio time segment being dialog enhanced and (ii) DE reference fingerprint data representing the audio time segment with the audio time segment being dialog enhanced and (b) providing the generated alternate digital reference fingerprint data for storage in a reference-fingerprint library for use in fingerprint matching. Including the DE reference fingerprint data may help to facilitate more robust matching of query fingerprint data that represents dialog enhanced audio content.

  • Publication number: 20250057683
Abstract: A method for fabricating a custom cranial remodeling device for correction of cranial deformities in a subject is described. The method comprises generating a three-dimensional head data file for the subject. Predetermined reference points are identified on the head. The predetermined reference points are utilized to calculate contour lines on the head. A modified head shape data file is generated and juxtaposed with the head represented by the three-dimensional head data file having the contour lines thereon. The modified head shape data file is used to generate a shape for a desired custom cranial remodeling device, the shape having an interior surface to contact the head and an outer surface The contour lines establish peripheral edges for the custom cranial remodeling device.

  • Publication number: 20250025092
Abstract: The disclosed system provides a neuro-physiological assessment and rehabilitation system. The system selects, based on an injury type, one or more target regions of the patient's brain for assessment of a neurological metric associated with a neurological network of the patient's brain and a first predetermined visual stimulation is provided to the patient while first neurological data pertaining to the athletic performance of the patient reacting to the visual stimulation is received, including measurements pertaining to the neurological metric. The obtained first neurological data is compared to the baseline data threshold and a second visual stimulation configured to prompt the neurological metric toward the baseline data threshold is selected. Second neurological data pertaining to the athletic performance of the patient reacting to the second visual stimulation is received and a state of the neurological metric indicating whether the neurological metric adjusted toward the baseline threshold is provided.

  • Patent number: 11994455
Abstract: An analyte in water is quantified by mixing an internal standard with a water sample. The sample is analyzed with a Raman spectrometer. The analysis includes mapping the signal from the Raman spectrometer to the quantity of said analyte. The mapping can include using a calibration curve, for example a multivariate calibration curve, that was previously prepared with the internal standard. In other examples, a sample is measured after addition of a known amount of the analyte.

  • Publication number: 20230388020
Abstract: A method for optical transceiver misconnection identification that allows a simple low-level process to monitor and communicate optical transceiver characteristics information between two optical transceiver modules regardless of their transceiver type to determine if they are correctly connected or mismatched. If a mismatch is determined, the knowledge gained about the transceiver type of a far end module may be obtained (and presented to an installer) and used by an installer to select and install a module that is operationally compatible with the far end optical module.

  • Patent number: 11828681
Abstract: In a method of measuring the amount of metaldehyde in water, a water sample of known volume is mixed with an isotopologue, a colorimetric dye and Raman-scattering nanoparticles. The water sample contains an analyte, for example metaldehyde. Optionally, the analyte may be treated to form a compound reactive with the dye.
