  • Publication number: 20070024434
Abstract: A visual steering wheel direction indicator for a self-propelled machine. The indicator may additionally exhibit an indicator of the amount that the steering wheel must be turned in order to reach neutral. The indicator may be integrated into a neutral start system.

  • Publication number: 20070027601
Abstract: Apparatus and a method for monitoring the performance of control algorithms, providing a safeing subsystem for a vehicle, particularly an agricultural windrower, for determining when a controlled system such as the propulsion system is no longer tracking a reference input signal sufficiently well. An appropriate action can then be executed, such as outputting a fault signal and/or shutting down the controlled system. An exponentially decaying integrator can be used to monitor the tracking errors.

  • Publication number: 20070012012
Abstract: An apparatus and method for calibrating the reel of an agricultural windrower, wherein a programmable control module in connection with a signal operated device in operative control of a variable displacement pump operable for controlling operation of the reel, is programmed as part of an automatic calibration routine for directing signals to the device having different values, for rotating the reel at two different speeds. The controller will then determine a characteristic algorithm or relationship between reel speed and signal value which will be predictive of reel speeds which will be achieved for a range of signal values.

  • Publication number: 20050217014
Abstract: An automatic flushing system is equipped with a buoyancy mechanism to unseat a valve set in a tank of a toilet. The automatic flushing system, equipped with battery power, includes sets of sensing, actuating, latching, buoyancy, unseat/seat and valve members. The battery power only provides electrical power to sensing and actuating members to release a float from an engaged position to a release position. Thus, the buoyancy of the float may unseat a valve to open a drain of the tank.
