  • Patent number: 11939051
Abstract: An aircraft can include a stacked propeller to generate lift during assent and descent. The stacked propeller includes a first propeller and a second propeller that co-rotate about an axis of rotation. In one embodiment, the blades are coupled to a rotor mast that contains an internal cavity. In one mode of operation, the first propeller and/or the second propeller can be stored in the internal cavity in order to reduce drag during flight. The aircraft can include one or more stacked propellers, such as a port propeller and a starboard propeller, which rotate in opposite directions during one or more modes of flight.

  • Patent number: 11018854
Abstract: In various embodiments, a computer-readable memory medium coupled to a processor is disclosed. The memory medium is configured to store instructions which cause the processor to retrieve a seed value, receive a digital bit stream, generate a stream of random bits, using the seed value as a seed to a pseudo random number generator (PRNG), wherein the stream of random bits contains at least as many bits as the digital bit stream, shuffle bits of the stream of random bits to create a random bit buffer, generate an obfuscated digital bit stream by applying a first exclusive OR (XOR) to the digital bit stream and the random bit buffer, wherein the obfuscated digital bit stream has the same number of bits as the digital bit stream, and provide the obfuscated digital bit stream to the communications interface.

  • Publication number: 20160015373
Abstract: High viscosity medical adhesive formulations are provided with an applicator device that allows the medical adhesives to be easily sterilized, accurately dispensed and optimally cured for medical applications. The preferred medical adhesive formulations include 2-octyl cyanoacrylate and n-butyl-2-cyanoacrylate monomers in formulation with various additives. The medical adhesive can be formulated to be bio-absorbable and/or bio-degradable. Suitable thickeners, stabilizers, plasticizing agents, preservatives, reinforcing agents, colorants and anti-bacterial compounds may advantageously be included in the formulation. The formulation is preferably placed within a sealed aluminum or plastic tube. An applicator tip with plastic brush bristles is used for application and curing of the formulation. On one end, the applicator tip preferably has a cutting or piercing mechanism which is capable of breaking the seal on the tube.
